Those hoping for a chance to be called as a contestant can register at a designated area at or near the venue box office up to two hours before the show, with no purchase required and no advantage gained by buying a ticket. 2026 Manion WOD

Honor the sacrifice of 1stLt Travis Manion, USMC, by participating in the Manion WOD. Participants will receive a shirt and ruck patch. There is also an opportunity to fundraise in support of the Travis Manion Foundation and earn incentives. The workout includes a 400-meter run and 29 weighted back squats for 7 rounds, with modifications available for all fitness levels. Participants are asked not to bring any free weights unless they are inside a backpack or rucksack, as weights will be provided. Each participant will be required to sign a waiver. Please bring a driver’s license or military/government-issued ID and your own towels.

Youth Mental Health First Aid Training

This Youth Mental Health First Aid training equips adults to support adolescents ages 12 to 18 who may be facing mental health or substance use challenges, whether in crisis or in everyday situations. Geared toward parents, relatives, caregivers, educators and school staff, peers and neighbors, and those working in health and human services, the course introduces common youth mental health concerns and typical adolescent development, then teaches a practical five step action plan to help. Topics include anxiety, depression, substance use, conditions that may involve psychosis, disruptive behavior disorders including ADHD, and eating disorders. Sponsored by the Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Centerstone, this class is valued at $170 and offered at no cost to participants. Space is limited and registration is required. Lunch will be provided. At the Morgan University Center, the #PreventionToolbox team from SRA at APSU hosts a campus celebration of sexual health and wellbeing on Clarksville’s largest campus. Freight Train/Sharknado Mixer!

A pre-bout mixer brings together skaters from across the region at the Memorial Health Building at Austin Peay State University. The mixer is open to skaters 18 and older. It is part of a doubleheader, and a clinic takes place before the scrimmage.

Pokemon Standard Play

Battle At The Lab 2026

Battle at the Lab 2026 is a two-day CrossFit competition in Clarksville, TN, hosted by CrossFit DCL. The first day focuses on partner events with team divisions that include male/male RX, female/female RX, male/male scaled, female/female scaled, coed male/female intermediate, male/male 50+, and female/female 50+. The second day features individual divisions with male and female RX, intermediate, scaled, and 50+ categories. The atmosphere blends an intimate gym setting with high energy and a strong sense of community. This edition marks the ninth year of the event.

TENNESSEE: Freight Train and Sharknado Speed clinic

At the Memorial Health Building, Austin Peay Un in Clarksville, this all-day skating clinic brings Freight Train together with Sharknado for a focused speed skating session. The schedule also includes a Train Stop Workshop of about two hours for beginner, new, and Level 1 or 2 skaters. The clinic welcomes junior and adult participants. Tickets are available for single sessions or as an all-day pass. Clarksville Roller Derby will offer a public scrimmage the same day, with separate sign up.

2026 Dash to Benefit 5K & Fun Run, presented by CDE Lightband

Presented by CDE Lightband, the fourth annual CMC Education Foundation Dash to Benefit features a 5K and Fun Run that rally community support for teachers and students in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System. Proceeds directly fund classroom grants, the Teacher Warehouse, academic recognition, scholarships, and morale initiatives across the district. A friendly participation challenge adds extra excitement this year. Among middle and high schools, the campus with the highest 5K turnout from students and staff earns a financial contribution to its athletics program. For elementary schools, the one with the most Fun Run participation from students and staff receives a contribution to its PE program. The Dash takes place in collaboration with the CMCSS employee Living Well Health and Wellness Event, and employees who complete the 5K and attend Living Well can qualify for extra prizes by showing a bib stamped to verify their finish. The 5K course is contained within the Rossview complex at Rossview High School and consists of two full laps, with volunteers and signs along the route to help with directions.

HopeWalk 2026

HopeWalk 2026 brings the community together at Liberty Park for a walk that takes place rain or shine and supports those seeking help and hope through HPC. Every participant makes a difference, and inviting friends and family to sponsor the effort increases the impact. Each sponsorship gift is tax deductible and directly invests in the lives of people who visit HPC. Skeet & Archery Range

The Skeet & Archery Ranges feature three skeet fields, two trap fields that share space with the skeet setup, and a dedicated five stand field. The archery area provides six lanes that reach up to 160 feet along with five Brickwall Systems. This activity typically repeats on Saturdays and Sundays each week. Admission is $7 for Active Duty and children under age 10, $8 for retired military, and $10 for DoD and civilian participants. Equipment is available to rent, with shotguns and bows priced at $10 each.

Fallen Karma

Scooter's Place sets the scene for a laid-back night with cold drinks and familiar tunes. Attendees can dance, sing along, and keep the celebration going while the music plays. There is no cover charge.

Free Comic Book Day

Celebrate Free Comic Book Day with in-store giveaways. Each person may receive one copy of every free title. Free comics are not placed on hold. Participation requires being in the store, and pickups cannot be made for someone else. A comic sale is also part of the day.

Spring Vintage Fair

Set on the grounds of Beachaven Vineyards & Winery, the Q108 Spring Vintage Fair brings together more than 130 merchants with vintage finds and other unique goods. Shoppers can grab a Get Pete! shopping satchel for their discoveries and see the latest campers on display from Buds RV. A lineup of ten food vendors offers a wide range of choices, including Chef Jamie’s, Tacos Azteca, Bondi Bowls, E’s Squeezed Lemonade, Pop & Dogs, Poptown Popsicles, Fryz wit Dat, C&W BBQ, Need More Coffee, and With Love Pizzeria. Guests can also enjoy wines from Beachaven Winery and sample teas from around the world with The Tea House. Younger attendees can visit Lady WhistleFaire’s Letter Writing & Art Studio to practice correspondence and explore drawing and design. Only service animals are permitted on the grounds. Members of the Beachaven Winery Wine Club receive complimentary entry for themselves and one guest. Admission is $7 per person for ages 13 and up. Presented by The Youth Academy.

Moms & Muffins at Hippington

Enjoy an in-store celebration highlighting new arrivals for mom along with a free muffin bar. Every purchase includes a $20 discount toward a future purchase and also counts as an entry in a Mother’s Day giveaway. Fire and Freckle will be on site serving burgers. Paws & Celebrate: National Pet Day

At Jenkins & Wynne, a National Pet Day celebration focuses on meeting adoptable dogs and finding great matches. Guests can interact with pups, learn about the adoption process, and see whether a new companion is the right fit. To streamline placements, prospective adopters are encouraged to submit a general application at least 72 hours in advance. The goal is simple, connect lovable dogs with lasting homes.

2nd Chance Expungement Clinic - Informational

An informational session dedicated to giving people in Montgomery County a second chance by explaining how to clear non-felony arrest violations from background and personal records. There is no cost to attend. Participants receive a free information packet, can ask questions and get answers, and may sign up for the 2nd Chance Expungement Clinic. Support for this effort comes from local judges and lawyers in Clarksville, with legal aid provided by the NAACP and Dr. Bullock-Neal. The clinic is sponsored by Warfield Lodge No. 44.

Vintage Springfest

At Beachaven Winery, this festival is promoted with excited energy and an emphasis on creativity. The event message highlights handmade and handpainted crafts and includes a nod to rhoscreations and woman veteran owned.

Annual Hope and Help Fair

An annual fair focused on connecting children and families with resources and support. Taking place at the American Job Center - Montgomery, it offers help for those in need, with assistance available across many areas. The goal is to make it easier for families to access the help they require.

Fiber Art Class with Irina

This hands-on fiber art class with Irina invites creators of all experience levels to explore texture and design while crafting a piece that reflects personal style. Irina provides step-by-step instruction in a calm, welcoming setting where participants can slow their pace, meet others, and focus on the joy of making. All supplies are included, and everyone leaves with a handmade work to keep or gift. Seating is limited to maintain personal attention, the fee is $45 per person, and early registration is recommended to reserve a spot.

YGO: Blazing Dominion Premiere Event

Frontline Games, an Official Tournament Store, hosts the Yu-Gi-Oh Blazing Dominion Premiere with a two-part experience. The event features a participation segment with a raffle, where each player receives five packs from the Blazing Dominion set and an exclusive Field Center card, plus entry into a drawing for prizes such as a game mat and an ultra rare card. An Advanced Constructed tournament follows. Players who joined the participation segment may choose to compete and can include the cards opened from their participation packs in their deck. The tournament champion earns a game mat, an ultra rare card, and a Blazing Dominion booster box. Additional prizes are based on attendance, while supplies last during the Blazing Dominion Premiere. Entry fee is $25.

Art Camp for Grown Ups

This adults-only art camp offers a relaxed, drop-in style experience with up to five hands-on projects to explore. Try different mediums such as canvas projects, ceramic painting, ceramic pouring, creating with clay for the kiln, and a new option, metal jewelry stamping. The atmosphere is casual and self-directed, like a mini retreat focused on creativity without strict rules. A complimentary pastry and mimosa bar will be available, and outside food and drinks are welcome. Seating is limited, so advance reservations are encouraged. Suitable for friends or solo participants, with a welcoming, social setting.

1st Annual Hope and Health Fair

A welcoming community fair focused on children and families offers a day of uplifting support and connection. At the first annual Hope and Help Fair, parents, caregivers, and kids can explore community resources, meet organizations that care, and gather information that strengthens family life. The setting includes food, games, and engaging activities, creating a family-friendly way to find help while forming relationships that last beyond the day. Gundam GCG: Newtype Challenge Mission 3

Frontline Games invites experienced pilots to take on Mission 3 of the Gundam GCG Newtype Challenge, a constructed format competition geared toward intermediate and advanced players. The entry fee is $20. Special promotional cards are on the line, and a larger turnout can lead to additional prizes. First place earns GD03-050 Gundam Barbatos Lupus, with upper placements receiving GD02-058 Ryusei-Go (Graze Custom II). All participants take home ST05-015 Isaribi. A raffle will also award one GD02-058 Ryusei-Go (Graze Custom II) to a random attendee. Participants receive one pack per win, and the top cut gains extra rewards. The Candy Kitchen Workshop

ArtLink Clarksville hosts a hands-on candy making workshop led by The Candy Kitchen. Over two hours, participants learn chocolate-making fundamentals while crafting custom chocolate bars and an assortment of chocolate candies from start to finish. Quilting: For Beginners (4 part series)

ArtLink Studio presents a four-session quilting workshop that builds skills in a clear, step-by-step format. The series meets every other week so there is time between classes to practice as the project progresses. It is suited to beginners and also welcomes those with some sewing background who want to strengthen their quilting techniques in a supportive, hands-on setting. The first class introduces essential quilting terms, accurate measuring, and precise fabric cutting. The second class focuses on piecing with consistent seam allowances, aligning corners, and squaring the project before adding borders. The third class explores quilting methods, reviews batting choices, and guides you as you begin quilting your work, with batting not required until this stage. The final class covers binding and the finishing steps that bring the quilt together. Participants should bring two coordinating cotton blend fabrics, one about 4 yards and another about 2 yards, along with matching thread. A piece of batting measuring 44 by 60 inches will be used starting in the third class. Additional helpful items include large fabric scissors, a ruler at least 12 inches long if desired, fabric pins, and a fabric marking pen.

Participants choose two activities from options such as a 5 by 7 canvas painting, shrink plastic art, a set of three one inch buttons, metal stamping, or hydro dipping. The experience concludes with making a card for someone who could use a lift, like a veteran, a senior, or a hospital patient. All materials are provided.

Homeschool Curriculum Show & Tell

Explore a wide range of homeschool curricula in a hands-on setting where families can examine materials used by local homeschooling communities. Attendees can visit display tables, flip through resources, and ask questions directly to those who have experience with the programs. It takes place in the Large Meeting Room at the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library. Mother's Day Paint & Parfum

At Heaven+Hannah, Paint & Parfum presents an interactive fragrance workshop created with Mother’s Day in mind. Guests paint and personalize a 50ml perfume bottle, then select a fragrance to be custom filled so they can take home a scent that is uniquely theirs. Disney’s Lorcana: Wilds Unknown Prerelease [Sealed]

This sealed prerelease for Disney’s Lorcana: Wilds Unknown features sealed deck play with an entry fee of $30. Each participant receives a prerelease kit containing six Wilds Unknown booster packs, one randomly selected glimmer foil Traveler promo from a set of six, one random postcard from a set of three, four D6 dice, a booklet, and a deck box. Using only the contents of the kit, players build a deck of at least 40 cards. There is no maximum deck size beyond the opened card pool, limited decks can include any number of ink types, and any number of copies of the same card are allowed. For example, if six copies of Genie The Ever Impressive are opened, all six can be included. Participants are paired for four rounds. Prizes award one Wilds Unknown booster pack per win, with additional prizes based on attendance. Disney Lorcana is a setting that brings stories to life.

The Music Man Jr.

River City, Iowa, springs to life in a spirited adaptation of Meredith Willson’s beloved Broadway musical. A smooth-talking traveling salesman whips up excitement by promising a boys band, planning to take the town’s money and run, but everything changes when he falls for the savvy town librarian. Packed with humor, heart, and classic tunes, this production is brought to the stage by young performers from the community for a welcoming, family-friendly outing. Music and lyrics are by Meredith Willson, with a book by Meredith Willson and Franklin Lacey. Produced in part with support from Kay and Randy Haase and from Gary and Linda Shephard. Presented by arrangement with Music Theatre International, with authorized materials supplied by MTI. Due to planned construction of the new Clarksville Performing Arts Center, the performance takes place in the Roxy Regional Theatre’s temporary home. Tickets are $35 for adults and $15 for children 10 and under, plus a ticketing operations fee. Late seating is not available because of the venue configuration, tickets are nonrefundable, and staff will do their best to reschedule to another performance when possible, though availability is not guaranteed.

Mortal Kombat II Tournament

A competitive Mortal Kombat II tournament built around accumulating tokens throughout play. Every entrant begins with two tokens. Matches are single-game bouts of up to three rounds. Before each match both players stake one token. The winner collects both, and the loser leaves that match without a token. Competitors may keep playing as long as they have tokens, working to build the highest total by the end. If players are tied for the lead at the end, a single deciding game determines the champion. Registration is available on site at the theatre or online in advance. Walk ins may be accepted if space allows and it is before the start. Sign ups close when the field reaches 50 participants or when the event begins. All participants are expected to show good sportsmanship and treat opponents, staff, and spectators with respect. Harassment, taunting that goes beyond friendly competition, or other disruptive behavior can lead to disqualification at the discretion of the organizers. The focus is fair competition and a fun experience for everyone.

Pokemon Standard Play

Take part in a Pokémon Standard Play tournament from Infinity that welcomes all skill levels, whether you are a seasoned trainer or stepping into your first event. Every participant receives a prize pack, and each round you win earns a Phantasmal Flames booster pack. Rounds are 50 minutes, with the total number of rounds set by the number of players. Each round is decided by a best two out of three. A minimum of four players is required for the tournament to begin.

If you are brand new or feeling out of practice, the introductory session covers tool basics, offers hands-on practice, and guides you through a two-piece project to take home. Those who have completed the first level and want to build skills can choose the beginner session for a review of the tools, additional practice, and a three-piece design. Participants who have finished both earlier levels and feel comfortable with the tools can move into the advanced option to create a five to six piece project without extra tool instruction or warm-up. Participants must be 16 or older. A signed waiver is required before taking part. After you register and pay, your name will be added to the list and no physical ticket will be issued.

2026 A/2/17 Reunion, Clarksville, TN May 13-17

The Alpha Troop Association is organizing a reunion that could be the last official gathering unless newer A/2/17 alumni step forward to keep it going. The schedule aligns with the deactivation of the 2/17 Cavalry of the 101st Airborne, Armed Forces Day, and the start of the Week of Eagles. Plans include participating in a Casing of Colors ceremony and presenting a historical lineup that traces Alpha Troop’s evolution from Vietnam-era ground operations to its transition as an air cavalry unit. Featured aircraft are slated to include the OH-6 Cayuse, UH-1 Huey, AH-1 Cobra, and OH-58 Kiowa, with hopes that the active unit will also provide a UH-60 Blackhawk and AH-64 Apache. This tribute is being called the Gathering of Eagles. After the ceremony, the vehicles and helicopters are expected to move to Outlaw Field at Clarksville Regional Airport. The vehicles, along with the OH-6 and OH-58, are planned as static displays open at no cost to active-duty Troopers, veterans, and the public in honor of the 2/17’s service. The Huey and Cobra are intended to offer paid rides. Reunion activities are based at the Hilton Garden Inn Clarksville. Support to help cover event costs, estimated at $50,000, is welcome. Animal Planters - Clay Workshop

This is a hand-building session, not a pottery wheel class. In this 1.5-hour class, projects are made in the studio, left to dry, and kiln fired. Learn Reiki 1 & 2, Clarksville, TN - 2- day class

Experience Usui Holy Fire III Reiki I and II in a two-day, in-person class in Clarksville, TN. Led by instructor Terri Wilson, RMT, Traditional, Usui Holy Fire III and Karuna Holy Fire, this training covers the history of Reiki, how it works, and what it can help address. Level I focuses on scanning the energy field and learning hand positions for self-care and working with others. Level II builds on that foundation with methods for channeling stronger energy, the use of three Reiki symbols, and techniques for distant healing. Participants receive a 192-page training manual and a certificate, and completion results in Reiki practitioner certification. Class size is limited to support hands-on learning. Tuition is $255 for both days, and a $100 nonrefundable deposit is required to reserve a seat. The remaining balance is due before the Thursday prior to class unless paying the balance in cash, and late registrants are asked to contact the instructor. At ArtLink Clarksville, this eight week after school program welcomes elementary and middle school students to build a solid foundation in art while developing one piece from start to finish. The setting is supportive and well organized, helping students learn new skills, gain confidence, and express their ideas through art. By the end, every participant completes a finished artwork that reflects individual creativity. Completed pieces may be considered for display in an ArtLink gallery. A spirited evening of bowling brings bankers, colleagues, clients, and friends together for the Bankers Challenge benefiting Bowl for Kids’ Sake at Pinnacle Family Fun Center. With a Bowl Big theme, the event focuses on raising vital funds for youth mentorship that builds confidence, supports goal-setting, and opens doors to brighter futures. Teams of up to five can participate, with registration set at $50 per bowler or $250 per team. Participants can form a team, register individually or as a group, share their involvement online to collect donations, gather contributions in person to bring to the event, check in on arrival to turn in donations and receive lane assignments, then settle in for a fun night on the lanes. The emphasis is less on scores and more on making a meaningful difference through professionally supported, one-to-one mentoring relationships for children who need guidance and support.

The 2nd Annual Summer Festival at Kenwood High School benefits the Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee Clarksville Club. At ArtLink Clarksville, children ages 5 and older can explore an ocean-inspired summer art camp that celebrates sea life, coral reefs, and underwater adventures. Throughout the week, campers get hands-on with a range of materials and techniques to create unique projects they can bring home. Activities include tie-dye, slime making, clay creations, painting, mixed media, and other themed projects. All materials and supplies are provided. BWC TRI STAR SHOW & SHINE

Bikers Who Care presents the inaugural TRI STAR Show & Shine, a car, bike and truck showcase with free admission for spectators. Participants can pre-register for $25 or register the day of the show for $35, and vendor spots are available for $40. Expect vendors, concessions, a swap meet, and auction and raffle items, along with dash plaques for the first 50 registrants. Judging will recognize winners in every category, with classes that include antique, classic, muscle, rat rod, low rider, trucks, motorcycles, import and domestic models from 2000 and newer, 4x4 entries such as Jeep, Bronco and SUV, and working class vehicles. Touch a Truck Summer Reading Kickoff

A free, family friendly Touch a Truck day at the library launches the Summer Reading Program. Attendees can get close to vehicles showcased by local agencies in the community, including fire, construction, and utility trucks. They can meet the operators, learn how these machines support the community, and try the horn. Inside the library, there will be crafts, games, and a scavenger hunt. Completing the hunt provides a chance to enter prize drawings. Visitors can also sign up for the Summer Reading Program, which offers more free events, reading challenges, and prizes for all ages throughout the summer.

The Candy Kitchen Workshop

ArtLink Clarksville hosts an interactive chocolate making workshop led by The Candy Kitchen. Participants learn the basics of working with chocolate and create their own confections, including personalized chocolate bars and assorted candies, with guided instruction and plenty of time to make each piece. All materials are provided, and each person takes home an apron. The workshop is open to ages 12 and up, and no prior experience is required.

An art camp welcomes children ages 4 through 13. The standard fee is $115. 2026 CLARKSVILLE TATTOO EXPO

The 3rd annual Clarksville Tattoo Expo, presented by Ink Masters Tattoo Show, offers four days of live tattooing and body piercing with up to 80 award-winning artists and piercers. Guests can meet professionals skilled in a wide range of styles, including realism, traditional, black and gray, and vibrant color, to create the design they have in mind. Daily free tattoo raffles will take place, with up to $1,200 in giveaways over the course of the event. Entry to the drawings is free, participants must be 18 and present to win. The expo welcomes all ages, and children must be accompanied by an adult. Tattoo services are available only to those 18 and older with a valid ID. Tickets are available at the door only, with single-day admission priced at $25 and a three-day weekend pass offered for $40.
