A welcoming community run sets out from Fleet Feet and follows a different route each week, covering roughly 3 to 5 miles. The atmosphere is relaxed and social, with pauses to take in Chattanooga’s scenery and capture a few photos. All fitness levels are welcome, including runners, joggers, and walkers.

The annual OHS Band Spring Concert features the Ooltewah High School Symphony Band at Christ United Methodist Church, followed by a performance by the OHS Jazz Band. The program includes John Philip Sousa’s The Free Lance March, Bernhard Heiden’s Diversion for Alto Saxophone and Band, Robert W. Smith’s Into the Storm, David Maslanka’s Illumination, Steven Reinke’s River of Life, Robert Buckley’s Jitterbug!, and Jack Black’s I Feel Alive from A Minecraft Movie. Eighth grade band students from Hunter Middle School and Ooltewah Middle School will join the ensemble for the final piece.

Learn to use a needle threader, separate floss, work with an embroidery hoop, and practice six foundational stitches to create a landscape design. No prior experience is needed and the session is open to ages 13 and up. All materials are provided, and participants may bring their own snacks and beverages. Enjoy a relaxed, creative atmosphere centered on nature inspired stitching.
Strong Back, Calm Body: A Viniyoga Yoga (Evenings)
A five-week Viniyoga series focused on spinal well-being, led by Beccah Graves, RYT-500. From-scratch cuisine takes center stage as the Morning Pointe Senior Living Top Chef Challenge advances to Round 2, the Regional Selection. Hosted at Morning Pointe of Chattanooga at Shallowford, this live cook off showcases the creativity, skill, and dedication of culinary teams from across the region. Four Food Service Directors vie for a place in the 2026 finals, presenting dishes evaluated by area food lovers and culinary professionals. Judges consider taste and texture, presentation and originality, nutrition and balance, how well each dish resonates with residents, cost effectiveness and practicality, the story and inspiration behind the plate, and the cleanliness and professionalism shown throughout. It is a spirited celebration of the careful, from-scratch dining experiences enjoyed by residents every day.

Danimal, Amber Carrington Lewis, and Blake Worthington share intimate sets featuring pared-back versions of their own songs, then unveil a new piece written in direct response to an artwork on display. Each musician performs beside the selected piece for about half an hour, describing the creative journey and the link they discovered between sound and image. It shares the early scenic sections with the longer route, then bypasses the climb up Mt Sequatchie to keep the river outlooks while trimming the steeps. All the scenery with less climbing. Children as young as 3 may join with a registered adult, and in that case both the child and the accompanying adult must register. Families are encouraged to create together. The Saleen Club of America Nationals arrives in Chattanooga, Tennessee with a full slate of driving, social, and showcase activities. Registration opens soon on the SCOA website. Morning cruises are planned for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, each wrapping up in town for lunch, with final details to be announced.
