Knit & Crochet Night
Abide Coffeehouse hosts a welcoming meetup for people who knit or crochet. Bring a work in progress or start something new, share tips, and enjoy conversation over coffee. All experience levels are welcome, from first-timers to long-time crafters, with chances to trade ideas, find inspiration, and connect with others who enjoy yarn crafts.
Abide CoffeehouseSocial Emotional Learning (SEL) Group!
This ongoing Social Emotional Learning group supports children in building emotional awareness, strengthening social skills, and developing healthy coping strategies in a supportive group setting. It follows an open enrollment format, so new participants may start at any time if space is available and intake steps are completed beforehand. This is a weekly program. An RSVP is required at least one week before the first visit to allow time for intake and scheduling, and all participants complete an intake to confirm a good fit and help the team prepare for each child’s participation. Private insurance is accepted, and the self-pay rate is $25 per session. Sessions take place at the Wilkes-Barre office. For registration or more information, contact the office to begin the intake process.
Journaling Lab- The Someday Society
Explore journaling through a series of guided labs that introduce a variety of techniques. Attend a single session or take part in all five, with each one centered on a different style so you can experiment and find what works for you. All materials are provided, and the format encourages connection with fellow community members motivated to turn plans into action. Registration is available.
Monthly Member Meeting
This monthly member meeting covers general astronomy topics, club updates, and member presentations. Plan ahead for parking, as there is no public parking on site, though paid public options are available nearby. The meeting takes place in the King's College Engineering building.
