Passi nella Natura - The Francigena Way
A presentation with Paola explores the storied Via Francigena, a pilgrimage route stretching roughly 2,000 kilometers from Canterbury to Rome that was first recorded in the 10th century by Sigeric the Serious. She shares the route’s historical background and recounts her walk from Lucca to Siena, connecting centuries of tradition with on-the-trail experience.
Make a Splash – Water Safety
In recognition of National Water Safety Month, guests from British Swim School lead a hands-on, interactive workshop that helps families get ready for the water before summer. Activities include storytime, engaging demonstrations that emphasize pool and general water safety for kids and families, resources and guidance for parents and caregivers, and opportunities for hands-on exploration with plenty of fun. The workshop is held in the museum's Program Room, is open to all ages, and participation is included with museum admission.
