GroundedCuddle® Up with Bernina 2-Day Workshop: Learn Sewing w/Cuddle® & Serging w/BERNINA L8 Series Serger
A two-day, hands-on sewing workshop spotlights Shannon Fabrics Cuddle fabric and the BERNINA L8 Series Serger, led by Cuddle Ambassador and seasoned sewist Lisa Lueck. It welcomes those new to serging as well as experienced makers who want to build confidence and learn fresh techniques. The first day covers core skills. Participants practice how to work with Cuddle, from preparing and cutting the fabric to serging it smoothly, while also getting acquainted with the features of the BERNINA L8 Series Serger. The day’s project is a beginner friendly Cuddle infinity scarf that is finished and ready to wear home. The second day strengthens those skills with two coordinated take-home projects. Attendees create a soft lap throw and a matching pillow with an envelope closure that includes a Shannon Fabrics brand pillow form. These projects reinforce day one techniques, introduce new methods, and result in polished pieces that are perfect to keep or gift.
