After the formal practice, those who wish can stay for a mindful potluck meal that begins in quiet and then opens space for conversation. Bring a water bottle, a journal, and a cushion for sitting if you have one, though some cushions are available. If it rains, dress for the conditions. Offered in the spirit of dana, there is no required donation, and contributions of food, funds, or help with cleanup are welcome.

Horse Camp

Hoof N Spur offers a three-day camp for children ages 7 to 10 that features time with horses and goats, plus crafts and games. Space is limited to 10 campers and spots are confirmed in the order registrations are received. The fee is $250 per participant for the full camp. To reserve a place, submit a registration form with a $50 deposit that is non-refundable, and pay the remaining balance at check-in on the first day. For safety, equine riding helmets and boots or tennis shoes are required. Bike helmets are not permitted, and sandals, flip flops, or crocs are not allowed. A riding helmet can be rented for $10 for the entire camp. Lunch and drinks are provided, or participants may bring their own.
