Middle school students can explore new creative skills through artisan crafts such as stencils, needle felting, and string art. Part of the Artisan Craft Wednesdays series, this session takes place at the Burlington Artists League Gallery inside Holly Hill Mall.

Bring an army, some paints, or simply come without supplies and be part of the community.
HyperMindDowntown Gibsonville - Visioning Workshop
Help shape the future of downtown Gibsonville at a hands-on community workshop focused on setting priorities and crafting a shared five-year vision. Guided in partnership with the North Carolina Main Street & Rural Planning Center at the NC Department of Commerce, the session gathers Gibsonville Downtown Advisory Board members and residents for participatory exercises that surface local assets, explore concrete projects and opportunities for downtown, and outline ways to work together to make them happen. The atmosphere is collaborative and forward-looking, with time for conversation and networking followed by structured visioning activities that translate ideas into clear next steps.

Unwind with canvas painting, drinks, and creative fun at a Sips & Sunshine paint and sip. An instructor guides you step by step so beginners feel comfortable and experienced painters stay engaged. A summer special takes $10 off all month, with canvas choices priced at $25 to $30 instead of $35 to $40. All materials are provided. Wine, beer, and nonalcoholic beverages are available for purchase, and you may bring your own wine for a $10 corkage fee.
