Diner w/ the Breakfast Exchange Club Fundraiser

Family Tree Nurturing Center and the Breakfast Exchange Club of Billings present a community fundraiser dinner at Diamond X. Held during Child Abuse Prevention Month, the event focuses on supporting children and families in Billings through practical help. All funds raised are directed to local resources and respite care for families who need it most. Expect an evening of food and community centered on a shared commitment to protect children and strengthen local support systems.

Sunny Poppies

Settle in for a painting session with all materials provided. The fee is $35 per person, and your first drink is complimentary. Payment is made at check-in by cash, check, or Venmo. Billings Queer Sphere Social

Billings Queer Sphere Social is a casual gathering at the 406 Pride Resource Center where people can expand their queer circle. Attendees can share coffee and snacks, play board games, and connect in a welcoming space.

Dementia Friendly Information Program

Allies in Aging is hosting a presentation that explains programs, activities, and services available to support adults in the community. Participants will also learn about Dementia Friendly Billings, a community movement focused on building awareness about supporting people living with dementia.

Getting Ready for Baby - Expectant Parent Class

Expectant parents can build confidence through a six week prenatal education series that explores pregnancy, preparation for labor and birth, newborn feeding, and the early days of parenting. Pregnant participants are welcome to attend with a birth support person, and there is flexibility to take the full series or choose only the sessions that matter most. Registration is required for each class you plan to attend. Only one parent needs to register, and that registration counts for both. Attend in person or participate live from home through a virtual link sent by email after registering. In person sessions take place at the Mansfield Center in Yellowstone Medical Center West on the lower level, with entrances on the southwest side near the circular drive and flagpoles. Parking is available in the garage at no cost.

FIT4BABY with Arrow Pelvic Health

FIT4BABY returns to Billings with a six week prenatal fitness and education series built to support strength and confidence throughout pregnancy. Sessions pair workouts tailored for pregnancy with birth preparation and pelvic floor education, plus nutrition guidance from a Registered Dietitian. It also offers a welcoming community of expectant mothers who are in a similar season. Space is limited.

Monday Evening Road Ride

A road ride that happens every week welcomes both standard bicycles and e-bikes. Riders are encouraged to come prepared with a helmet, lights, and water.

Monday Line Dance Lesson

Pura Vida Studio offers a class that teaches a different advanced line dance each session. A partner is not required and no prior experience is needed. The class welcomes participants of all ages. The cost is $5 per person.

Orwell: 2+2=5 | Staff Birthday Pick

Selected as a Staff Birthday Pick by Kyler Hodik, this program explores the legacy of George Orwell, a visionary 20th century author known for 1984 and Animal Farm. Director Raoul Peck blends clips, readings drawn from Orwell’s diary, cinematic references, and contemporary footage to shape a portrait of the writer. It also reflects on the prophetic qualities of his work.

At Total Nutrition Billings, the Shortcut to Summer Challenge returns as a free six week transformation focused on losing fat, building muscle, and rewarding consistency. Participants track progress in men's and women's divisions and compete for more than $15,000 in cash and prizes, including a seven night cruise to Mexico, a year of supplements, a Theragun, a Ninja Creami, and more. Progress pays off with $5 in store credit for every pound of muscle gained and every percentage point of body fat reduced, and each result also prompts a $1 donation to the Live Like Jace Foundation. 6-Week Dungeons & Dragons Campaign: Heroes of Faerûn

Captain Scurvy’s Black Dragon Den hosts a six week Dungeons & Dragons campaign in the world of Faerûn. Born from a one shot that grew into something bigger, this arc continues the tale with returning adventurers and space for newcomers. Across six connected sessions, choices shape the unfolding story as ancient powers rouse, long quiet ruins come alive, factions move in secret, and whispers of a dragon grow louder each week. Characters start at 5th level, 5e and 6e builds are accepted, and multiclassing is allowed. New players are welcome. The cost is $20 per session or $100 for the full campaign, with seating limited to 10 participants.

Wheel Thrown Bowls

Explore wheel throwing from the ground up with Cerington Jones at Yellowstone Artist Co-op, a space with communal resources for potters. This beginner course covers the core techniques of centering, opening, and pulling, guiding you from a raw lump of clay to a functional bowl you make by hand. The emphasis is on getting comfortable with the wheel and understanding how clay moves, leading to a finished piece that works for daily use, gifting, or display. After you throw your forms, you will select glazes, and the finishing and firings will be taken care of for you. Each participant has two pieces included for bisque and glaze firing, with the option to fire additional work for a cash fee paid at the end. Clay, tools, and firings are included. Wear clothing that can get messy, and keep fingernails short to make shaping easier. Enrollment is limited to four students. Completed pieces will be available for pickup at Crooked Line Studio after the glaze firing, and notifications will be sent when they are ready.

PINTS & PUZZLES SERIES 3.4 (SESSION 3) — Meadowlark Brewing

If you enjoy beer and jigsaw puzzles, this event is for you. Teams will compete to complete a 500-piece puzzle in the fastest time. Teams of 2-4 will be randomly assigned a puzzle and will have 60 minutes to complete it. Drink tokens will be awarded to the fastest team. This is one of six sessions, and cumulative points will be awarded for a grand prize in May. Space is limited to 9 teams per session.

Barnes & Noble Community Book Club

A community conversation for Billings readers centered on the Barnes & Noble monthly Book Club selection. The group meets in the Barnes & Noble café to discuss the current pick.

After School Art for Kids: Where the Wild Things Are

Crooked Line Studio offers an after-school art program that gives kids space to bring their creativity to life using a wide range of supplies and techniques. This session dives into forest-inspired fantasies, inviting young artists to imagine trolls, frogs, fairies, mysterious beasts, and tiny creatures alongside unusual plants and trees. Participants are encouraged to trust their own ideas as they experiment and build their own wild worlds. The program is for ages 7 to 12, with a maximum of 12 kids per session, and it wraps up with an art show celebrating the work created.

Yellowstone Valley Gives Community Rally

An in-person community rally at the Billings Community Foundation kicks off Yellowstone Valley Gives 2026 with food, drinks, and prizes, plus plenty of excitement as the countdown to giving day builds. The event welcomes everyone, including donors, participating nonprofits, and friends, family members, and community supporters. It brings people together to celebrate local generosity and aims to make the 11th year of YVG the biggest yet.

Travis Manion WOD

Middle School Open Gym (FREE Development Workshop)

Open to middle school athletes in seventh or eighth grade, this free development workshop at Pirtz Field focuses on building a strong foundation for future Legion baseball. Sessions emphasize core skill work, smarter game decision-making, and plenty of purposeful repetitions. Participants connect with Legion coaches and players, grow confidence, and gain a clear picture of what the next level demands. Bring a glove, helmet, and bat, plus catcher’s gear if available, and arrive with a positive attitude. This is a development environment, not a tryout.

West Coast Swing Basics & Social Group Classes

Take part in a West Coast Swing basics class and a separate social session offered the same night. Drop in for either class for $10 per person, or take both on the same night for $15 per person. Additional savings are available with an Evolutions DanceCard.

Wednesday evening Line Dance Lesson 💃

This information session from CASA of Yellowstone County shares how trained Court Appointed Special Advocate volunteers support children by amplifying their voices and keeping their best interests at the center of important decisions. The session highlights how compassionate, consistent advocacy can help a child grow stronger and move toward a safe and permanent home.

ZooMontana Pint Night

Raise a glass at 1889 Brewing Company in support of ZooMontana during Yellowstone Valley Gives. This Pint Night fundraiser donates $1 from every pint sold to the Zoo.

Party for the Great Outdoors

The Base Camp in Billings hosts an evening gathering in support of Yellowstone Valley Gives, bringing together local groups dedicated to protecting Montana’s outdoor places and expanding access to them. Attendees can meet organization representatives, learn about their work, contribute to their efforts, and try activities offered by each group. Participating nonprofits include Wild Montana, Billings Trailnet, Silver Run Ski Foundation, Absaroka Beartooth Wilderness Foundation, and Beartooth Trails. The Base Camp will match $500 in donations for each participating nonprofit, and anyone who donates $25 or more will receive a $5 coupon to use in the store. Weather permitting, there will be family-friendly yard games outside, along with snacks and refreshments. It is an opportunity to connect with the people shaping the outdoor community and to support the places people love to explore.

April 30th Patio Fiesta at Last Chance Pub & Cider Mill

No experience is required. Step by step guidance is provided as participants decorate six themed cookies. Yoga for EveryBody - Thursdays

This 45 minute blend of Restorative and Yin yoga invites a gentle reset centered on community, connection, and authenticity. There is no push for perfect poses or polished form, only an experience grounded in presence, care, and compassion. Participants can explore flexibility alongside ease in body, mind, and spirit within a welcoming space where everyone is seen and supported. Mats, bolsters, blankets, and additional props are provided. The class is offered at $10 to uphold an accessible, affordable, and equitable environment. Arriving a few minutes early is encouraged so there is time to settle in. For safety and to preserve a mindful atmosphere, doors close promptly at the start of class.

Latin Technique

A rotating Latin technique series focuses on a new style each week while building strong Cuban motion. The progression features Cha Cha with Cuban motion, Rumba with Cuban motion, East Coast Swing with Cuban motion, a scheduled week off, then Mambo with Cuban motion. Pricing is $15 per person for a single class or $40 per person for the full series, with additional savings available through a DanceCard. Magic City Bellydance Festival

Sky Studio Bellydance marks more than a decade of dance with the Magic City Bellydance Festival, a three day celebration that welcomes beloved professional artists back to the stage and studio. Headliners Amy Sigil and Dahlia Moon lead the festivities with a mix of performances and learning opportunities for the bellydance community. Expect sessions on sword work, technique, dancing with full energy, and the signature Improv Team Sync approach that invites teams to move as one. The weekend includes an evening gala performance at Club Lux with opportunities for dancers to take the spotlight. Workshops begin Saturday at Sky Studio with a full day guided by Amy and Dahlia, and lunch options will be available. Sunday brings a high energy Dance Church workshop, followed by a farewell luncheon to close out the celebration. Amy Sigil is an international instructor in dance and team building, director of UNMATA, owner of Sigil School, and the creator of Improv Team Sync, with more than 25 years of study spanning Bellydance, American Tribal Style, Hula, Tahitian, studio hip hop, and athletics such as volleyball, basketball, and track. Dahlia Moon brings three decades of experience in Egyptian and Lebanese belly dance, holds the 2007 Belly Dancer of the Universe title, and is certified to teach Improv Team Sync Levels 1 through 4. The focus throughout the weekend is growth, community, and plenty of sparkle.

RED Friday & Yellowstone Valley Gives WATCH PARTY!

High energy, strong community spirit, and a focus on impact set the tone at Canyon Creek Brewing as the monthly RED Friday gathering from Veterans Navigation Network becomes a Yellowstone Valley Gives watch party. Veterans, their families, supporters, friends, and community partners can share laughs, build camaraderie, and watch giving totals rise during the final hours of the region’s biggest day of giving while the organization moves toward its annual funding goal. Guests are encouraged to wear RED, Remember Everyone Deployed, and Veterans Navigation Network shirts will be available. Attendees can enjoy a drink and cheer the mission across the finish line in support of Montana veterans and their families.

Day of Giving Gathering

The Chase Hawks Memorial Association hosts a donor celebration focused on community, storytelling, and philanthropy in support of families facing crisis throughout the region. Attendees will find pay-as-you-go food and beverages, time to connect with friends and other supporters, meaningful accounts of people helped by the organization, and opportunities to contribute to its mission. Last year the gathering generated more than $16,000 for the Crisis Fund, and this time the goal is $20,000 to assist even more families when urgent needs arise. The evening is presented in collaboration with longtime partners at the Billings Hotel and R Lounge.

2026 Native Art Expo

An evening of Indigenous art, culture, and community unfolds in the Glacier Room at MSU Billings, where Native artists will share beadwork, jewelry, painting, regalia, parfleche, textiles, and other creations. Attendees can discover new work, engage with artists, and connect with community in a welcoming setting. Admission is free and all are welcome. Presented by the Native American Achievement Center with support from the House of Welcome Cultural Arts Center.

Teen Calm Collective - Teen Support Group at Beautiful Directions Counseling

Teen Calm Collective is an interactive support group for high school students ages 14 to 18 hosted by Beautiful Directions Counseling. It offers a welcoming, judgment-free space where participants connect, share experiences, and build practical skills. Conversations explore building friendships and setting boundaries, handling pressures tied to social media, making thoughtful decisions, cultivating healthy confidence, setting goals, managing stress, navigating peer pressure, and supporting one another when bullying occurs. Each session costs $40, and insurance billing or a sliding fee option is available.

1st Annual Salsa Festival

Downtown Billings hosts the first-ever Salsa Fest, presented by Montana Brewing Company and Hooligan’s Sports Bar, set under Skypoint with live music from The Repeat Offenders, tasty food, and prizes. The salsa showdown features two divisions, one for bold, spicy creations and another for milder, garden-forward flavors. A winner in each category earns $500 in cash and a sizable trophy. To enter, submit a jar of homemade salsa at either Hooligan’s or Montana Brewing Company, then judging follows and champions are announced live on stage during the festival.

Jane McBee Missions Offering Fundraiser: Pancake Dinner

A pancake dinner at Trinity Baptist Church raises funds for the Jane McBee Missions Offering, which supports efforts to share the Gospel in Montana and beyond. Guests can enjoy a breakfast-for-dinner menu with pancakes and classic sides, then hear updates from individuals supported through this offering across the state. The evening also features an auction of desserts, with options to enjoy a treat there or take one home. A suggested donation of $10 per person or $20 per family is requested, and all proceeds benefit the mission. An RSVP on Facebook helps with planning.

ZooMontana Take-Over at Plush Coffee & Soda

Plush Coffee & Soda hosts a ZooMontana takeover in celebration of Yellowstone Valley Gives. Two animal-inspired specialties debut for the occasion, and all proceeds from the Henrec Huckleberry Latte and the Tiger’s Blood Soda are donated to ZooMontana.

Tristan Wilson Junior Recital

A night featuring swing, funk, and traditional New Orleans sounds that will keep toes tapping. Admission is free. Gratuities for the band and bartenders are welcome, and voluntary donations will benefit the MSUB Music Department to help keep live music going. Live performances continue throughout the event.

Wild Rose - Teen Night

Wild Rose Action Center turns its facility into a teens-only hangout, closing it to the public so participants can relax, connect, and play under the guidance of caring adults. Activities include laser tag, Splat Attack, and virtual reality. Admission is $5 per teen. Concessions are budget friendly, with pizza for $5 and snacks, candy, and soda for $2 each. The environment is designed to be welcoming and low pressure, supported by a team experienced in youth events and trained in CPR, trauma awareness, and counseling basics. Neurodivergent teens are welcome, and a quieter space is available for board games or downtime. A waiver is required and can be completed at the door or in advance.

The Trail to Oregon

An All-American family heads west in a musical parody of The Oregon Trail video game series. Created by Starkid Productions with music and lyrics by Jeff Blim and a book by Jeff Blim, Matt Lang, and Nick Lang, the show first ran in Chicago in the summer of 2014. Audience participation is central, with the crowd suggesting character names and ultimately deciding which character dies at the end. The production features 12 educational songs, a set designed to mirror the trail’s landscape, and appearances by historical figures such as Henry McDoon, Cletus Jones, and Cornwallis. Presented at Casual Space. Tickets are $16 online or at the door, and cash transactions include a $1.

ParNicularly RiNicholas Variety Show

Episode 61 of the PNRN Variety Show brings a lively mix of performances to Kirks' Grocery, featuring RJ Cummings, Matt Lopez, Sean Myers, Tara Williamson, Will Ryerson, Ashley Woodward, Mandie Castro, Joshua Ploeg, Julie Lary, Nicholas Rogers, and Jessica May. Admission is $15 at the door, with a discounted $12 option available. At High Horse Saloon, the evening begins with a country dance lesson and then shifts into open country dancing that continues late into the night. Music ranges from classic to contemporary country, with selections that fit popular line dances. Song requests are welcome.

De-Escalation and Active Shooter Training

Build practical skills for staying composed and making clear decisions in high-pressure moments with training focused on de-escalation and active shooter response. Participants explore strategies for calming tense encounters, spotting signs of escalating behavior, and keeping themselves and others safe. The session also covers protective actions during an active shooter incident and effective ways to share information with law enforcement. Real world scenarios reinforce confident, informed choices when seconds count. Cost: $99.

Community Wellness Fair

This no-cost community health fair welcomes everyone and offers a friendly space to explore health information, supportive services, and ways to connect with the community. Three Dog Night

Three Dog Night performs at Alberta Bair Theater with a career spanning six decades. Formed in 1968 by Irish-born Danny Hutton, the band was built around three lead vocalists whose shared leads and blended three part harmonies, supported by four instrumentalists, became its hallmark in the studio and on the road. The group has achieved 21 consecutive Billboard Top 40 hits, including three number one singles, and 12 straight RIAA Gold LPs. By 1975 they had sold more than 50 million records with songs such as "One", "Easy to Be Hard", "Mama Told Me (Not to Come)", "Joy to the World", "Black and White" and "Shambala". Three Dog Night will release Enter, the first new studio album in nearly 40 years, created with Bill Cooper from the original production team and featuring material written by Hutton, recorded at Canyon Hut studios next to Hutton's Laurel Canyon home purchased from Alice Cooper more than four decades ago.

Safe Harbor is a peer-led suicide prevention group for teens that offers a place to talk, listen, and be understood. Conversations are real and judgment free, with support from other teens who relate to shared challenges. Participants can choose to share or simply observe while gaining tools to cope, connect, and get through difficult moments. The group welcomes teens ages 14 to 18 who want support, connection, or a space to be themselves. Meetings are held in a confidential, respectful setting with no pressure to speak, and both an adult facilitator and a licensed clinician are present for safety and support. Amphestival 2026

Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks and the Montana Audubon Center host a free, all ages amphibian education night filled with family friendly activities. Prairie Goat Ultra Race

Mountain bikers and trail runners share the spotlight in a dual-format endurance challenge that supports Pedal United and its work on natural surface trails in south-central Montana. Choose your discipline and your clock, then rack up as many miles as you can either solo or by trading laps with teammates. Riders take on an approximately 8 mile loop with quick descents and steady climbs. E-bikes are welcome and recognized with a separate award category. A course-side aid station provides water, basic nutrition, and lunch. Runners circle an approximately 4 mile singletrack loop with modest elevation, with options for 3, 6, and 12 hours, plus a 24 hour choice that allows movement through the night, rest as needed, and team lap-sharing. Lights and reflective gear are required after dark. The aid station offers a warm fire pit along with soups, food, teas, coffee, and water. When the running events wrap up, a free meal will be available. The venue offers primitive camping at the race site on BLM land just outside Billings, Montana, with no running water or electricity, so participants should arrive self-sufficient.

34th Annual Boat-Bike-Gear Swap 2026

Now in its 34th year, this Boat-Bike-Gear Swap brings together a wide range of used boating, biking, and outdoor equipment in one secure, fenced sales area staffed by Sunshine Sports, the Spoke Shop, the Beartooth Paddlers, and experienced volunteers. Sunshine Sports serves as an intermediary, connecting sellers and buyers so the sale runs smoothly. Sellers check in items during the week leading up to the event or on the morning of the swap and pay a per-item handling fee. Display areas include carpeted sections to protect composite canoes, touring craft, and other delicate boats, along with racks to showcase bikes. Sellers are not required to stay on site, although being present can help items sell. All unsold gear must be retrieved at the end of the day, and many purchases tend to happen early. Buyers can pay with cash, checks, or credit cards. Checks are written directly to the seller, and an ID is required for check or card purchases. Credit card transactions are processed by Sunshine Sports with a 6% fee, and proceeds are mailed to the seller. A cash machine will be available. Unsold items and proceeds must be picked up on the day of the swap. Unclaimed gear is subject to a $10 per day storage fee and may be donated if not retrieved within 7 days. At check-in, sellers can choose to donate any items that do not sell. Sunshine Sports does not charge a commission, but there is a cash handling fee per item based on its price, starting at $1 for items priced up to $10 and scaling to $50 for items priced $3000 and above, with intermediate tiers of $2, $3, $7, $10, $20, $30, and $40 tied to increasing price ranges. All proceeds from the swap are donated each year to a good cause. For security, sellers sign an agreement acknowledging that Sunshine Sports and partner organizations are not responsible for loss, damage, or theft.

A full weekend of live poker unfolds at Stars 'n' Stripes Lounge & Casino with three No Limit Hold'em tournaments and a multi-flight Main Event. It kicks off with the Mike Fick Memorial, a $200 event that starts players with 20,000 chips, uses 20 minute levels, allows up to seven re-entries per player, and keeps registration open until the start of level 7. Winners receive a trophy along with cash payouts. The centerpiece is the Main Event, which offers two Day 1 flights and a Day 2 restart. Entry is $375, the starting stack is 100,000, and levels last 40 minutes. Re-entry is available up to five times per player. A three day film festival commemorates the 150th anniversary of Little Bighorn, hosted at ArtHouse Billings. The program centers the Allied Tribes, the Cheyenne, Lakota, and Arapaho, honoring those who endured and those who gave their lives for freedom, and it highlights Native films and stories. The lineup features documentaries, shorts, and narrative features, plus special presentations, with some selections connected to Montana artists. The festival coincides with battlefield focused activities that same weekend. Its aim is to uplift Native pride and promote accurate cultural and historical education about this crucial moment in shared history and the ongoing resilience of the Allied Tribes. Camp Half Blood

At Moss Mansion, the museum and grounds transform into Camp Half-Blood for a week of adventures inspired by Percy Jackson. Young heroes spend the session training for quests and exploring Greek mythology. Agility challenges, brain-teasing puzzles, creative crafts, scavenger hunts, and games help build skills for the journey ahead. This program is designed for kids ages 10 to 14. Each session runs for one week. Capacity is limited to 24 campers per session, and registration with full payment is processed on a first come, first served basis. All materials are provided. Chinook Horses & Blue Kangaroo Social Cognition Camp provides a five day experience designed for children who think and learn in unique ways or have navigated challenges that can make social connection harder. Tuition for the full week is $370. The program blends the Eagala model with evidence-based approaches to promote learning, emotional development, and stronger social skills. With activities directed by the horses, participants practice teamwork and clear communication in ways that are often hard to replicate in typical settings. NOXIOUS WEED CONTROL

This free, hands-on class is led by Caleb Music, a licensed education specialist with the Yellowstone County Weed District. It focuses on invasive plants that affect rangelands, farms, wildlife habitat, and home landscapes across south-central Montana. Participants learn to identify common problem species such as leafy spurge, spotted knapweed, and Russian olive, and how to tell them apart from similar native plants. The class covers practical control methods, including mechanical removal, cultural practices and prevention, proper herbicide selection and timing, and integrated pest management, along with techniques to stop spread and avoid re-infestation. Pre-registration is requested.
