St. James CoffeeIntroduction to Kettlebells
An introductory kettlebell class designed to develop strength, stability, and confidence while covering correct technique, foundational movements, and safe practices that set the groundwork for a well rounded, full body workout. Expect a mix of standing and floor based exercises. Attendees should be able to lift at least 5 pounds. The instructor is Kris Wagner. Pricing is $35 for Fitness members and $47 for Social members and nonmembers.
125 LIVEMindful Art Workshop for Ages 16+
This free workshop creates a calm, creative space for ages 16 and older to explore art alongside mindfulness. Each session encourages relaxation and self-expression, with a new theme introduced every month to inspire the process. April focuses on Art in the Environment, featuring projects such as Watercolor Raindrops and Growth Tree. All materials are provided, and no prior experience is required. Adults and teens can gather at the Stewartville Public Library for a relaxed Junk Journal Club focused on creating and refining pages in personal junk journals alongside fellow makers.
