Tai Chi
Experience gentle, low impact Tai Chi in a program led by Naomi Hyso of the MSU Extension office, designed for arthritis management and fall prevention. Through slow, flowing movements that emphasize weight transfer and control, participants work to improve balance, strength, mobility, and overall quality of life while easing stress and reducing the risk of falls. The session supports older adults and people with disabilities who are at risk for falls and want to stay active. Modifications are available for both seated and standing participation, making the class accessible and easy to learn. Registration is required. If you are having trouble registering online, please call the library at 231-780-8844.
