Author and illustrator Laurie Keller visits 2 Dandelions for a story time that features a live drawing demonstration and a participatory drawing session. Known for the Arnie the Doughnut books, she has also illustrated a new title, I Used to Be a Dinosaur, written by Casey Lyall. Keller created The Scrambled States of America, Do Unto Otters: A Book About Manners, and Potato Pants!, and her book We Are Growing!, part of the Elephant and Piggie Like Reading series, received the Geisel Award. Registration is appreciated to help with planning.
2 Dandelions BookshopFull & New Moon Circles at Vibology
Vibology hosts moon circles aligned with the full and new moons. Each gathering brings a different focus, with guidance on a ritual tailored to that phase. Participants receive a gift bag that includes a stick of incense, the ritual instructions, and often additional information or small treats. The circle concludes with a single card drawn for every person. This event is free, and donations are appreciated.
