Family caregivers can take part in a nine-session stress management series that focuses on managing stress, building effective coping habits, and strengthening problem solving in a welcoming group environment. This evidence based class is designed to enhance quality of life through practical tools and guided practice with proven techniques. Participants will explore how stress affects mind and body, try out strategies to reduce its impact, and connect with others facing similar challenges. The series is led by facilitators Heather Komulainen and Jessica Riseman and takes place at SeniorsPlus Lewiston. Because the curriculum builds from week to week, attendees are expected to participate in all sessions. Registration is required.
