Built for D2 and D3 travel baseball, this Youth World Series gathers 9U through 16U teams from across the nation for a true national championship atmosphere. Eligibility is limited to lower AAA and AA or A teams using Baseball Youth’s DivLevel Team Classification System. Over a four day weekend, squads compete in 5 to 7 games on high quality synthetic turf and take part in skills competitions. A distinctive double sided bracket keeps every matchup meaningful, with Gold, Silver, and Bronze divisions guiding the road to the finish. Shore Acres Artisans & Farmers Thursday brings the community together at Crown Sports Center for a market where everything comes straight from the grower or maker. At UMD-Lower Eastern Shore REC, extension educators and specialists from the University of Maryland, the University of Delaware, and IR4 will share updates from research focused on blueberries, blackberries, sweet corn, watermelon, peppers, and biodegradable plastic. Participants can hear from the team and taste produce connected to these studies. Presenters include Dr. Veronica Yurchak of UMD Extension, Dr. Kelly Hamby of UMD, Dr. Alyssa Betts with UD, Dr. Haley Sater and Ginny Rosenkranz from UMD Wicomico County Extension, and Megan Hickman with IR4. Restorative Thursdays with Woo - 6/25/26

Settle into a gentle, deeply embodied relaxation practice that uses props to support the body for full release. Breathwork and stillness calm the nervous system and bring the body into a place of healing and restoration. Limited to eight spots.

RPG Night

A weekly gathering for RPGs welcomes players. Volunteer Game Masters run tables for up to six participants, and arriving early makes it easy to introduce yourself, check for open seats, and learn what each group is running. Entry is $3. The format is open table, but space can be limited, so please confirm availability in advance.

Knit Night

This bi-weekly Knit Night is a relaxed gathering for crafters who want to work on current projects or begin something new. Navigating Medicare can be confusing, so MAC offers a free Welcome to Medicare class that explains the essentials in clear terms. Designed for anyone preparing to start Medicare, whether still working, retired, or on disability, the session covers the different parts of Medicare and how they work, enrollment timelines, expected costs, and coverage options including Medicare Advantage and supplemental plans. It also highlights ways to guard against fraud and reviews your rights as a Medicare beneficiary. Magic the Gathering Marvel Super Heroes Release Draft

A draft event marks the Marvel Super Heroes release. Players gather at a table, open a booster, choose one card without revealing it, then pass the remaining cards to the left. After those packs are finished, a second pack is opened and passed to the right, followed by a third passed to the left again. When drafting ends, each participant has about 45 cards to build a 40-card deck using those picks and any number of basic lands. The event uses the Magic Companion app, and participants should have the app installed and be logged in with a new or existing Wizards account. Advance sign-up is available through the organizer’s website.

Echos of Energy a Reiki and Sound Experience

Echoes of Energy is a Reiki and sound experience guided by Brad and Stefanie Absher of Ebb and Flow Wellness Co. It offers a pause from everyday noise with the aim of calming the nervous system, softening the body, and renewing the spirit. Participants relax in zero gravity chairs with a blanket and pillow as soothing sound fills the room and gentle Reiki is shared throughout the space. The intention is to slow down, reset, and receive, encouraging deep relaxation and a grounded sense of calm that can leave you feeling light and ready for rest. Space is limited to 13 participants, and the cost is $50. It is a chance to breathe out, release what no longer serves, and be supported by sound and energy.

Every Friday, a sensory play session provides a calm, engaging setting designed for little ones. Lights stay low, music is off, and hands-on stations invite exploration at each child’s pace. Children can get creative at a coloring table, squish and shape Play-Doh, and explore sensory bins with a range of textures. It suits toddlers and young children who benefit from a quieter atmosphere while still having plenty of fun. [Salisbury] Gundam Card Game G-Generation ST10&EB01 Battle Royale Release Event

Celebrate the launch of Starter Deck ST10 and Booster Pack EB01 for the Gundam Card Game, highlighting the G Generation series. To showcase the release’s focus on multiplayer play, the event uses a Battle Royale format where several players compete at the same time. It is a single-round setup with four players at each table in a four player battle royale. With the purchase of an event ticket, each participant receives one ST10 starter deck and four EB01 booster packs. Advance registration is available.

This 4-hour course focuses on efficient and economical motion in areas like holster work, trigger control, sight picture, and handling multiple threats while shooting at various target types, including steel. Rescheduling is allowed once, but there are no refunds.

Summer at Newton is a free summer program for youth at the Newton Community Center, offered by the City of Salisbury to provide a welcoming space for recreation, creativity, and connection throughout the season. Designed for ages 8 to 18, the program features arts and crafts, gaming, music and video recording, STEM activities, cooking, and field trips. A free lunch is available each day for children under 18 through a partnership with Wicomico County Public Schools Food and Nutrition Services. Youth under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.

Gyotaku Workshop

Explore the traditional Japanese art of gyotaku with instruction from Robby Chin, founder of Eastern Shore Gyotaku. The session introduces the history and printing techniques, then participants paint and press an oyster shell print to take home. All supplies are included in the ticket price. The workshop is held at the Museum of Eastern Shore Culture in downtown Salisbury. Downtown parking is free for up to two hours on weekdays and completely free on weekends. Dr. Madhumi Mitra leads a four-part Qigong series focused on nurturing vitality, emotional steadiness, and a sense of balance. Participants will explore easy-to-learn movement, conscious breathing, and energy practices that support flexibility, coordination, circulation, and relief from stress. Mindfulness and meditation are woven throughout to strengthen focus and overall well-being, with practical strategies for bringing Qigong into everyday life. Each session builds on the previous one while still offering standalone practices that can be used right away. The series welcomes complete beginners as well as those with prior experience in mind-body disciplines. All movements can be adapted to individual needs, making it approachable for a wide range of ages and fitness levels. Comfortable clothing is recommended. Time is set aside for quiet reflection, relaxation, and connection with others. By the conclusion of the series, participants will have techniques to support harmony of body, mind, and spirit. Community Back To School Blast Off!

This community back to school celebration is focused on launching students toward success with complimentary backpacks filled with essential supplies for children who attend, available while quantities last. Expect an afternoon of music, food, free youth haircuts, hygiene kits, face painting, inflatable attractions, snowballs, and a range of family friendly activities. Organizers are seeking support through school supply donations and participation from community resource vendors, businesses, churches, nonprofits, and other organizations, along with face painters, inflatable providers, snowball vendors, activity partners, and volunteers. It is a resource focused gathering rather than a marketplace, and groups can host a booth to share information, giveaways, and school necessities with local families. Taking part offers a chance to spotlight services, build connections, share helpful resources, encourage students and families, and contribute to community well being. Planning is underway for the annual Back to School Blast Off, and every contribution and act of support makes a difference. Niagara falls Bus trip 2026

This multi-day bus getaway to Niagara Falls includes convenient pickups in Salisbury, Seaford, and Camden. The coach offers WiFi and a restroom, and water is typically available. Small coolers that fit under the seat are welcome, but please avoid glass. Admission for popular attractions such as Maid of the Mist, Cave of the Winds, and Fort Niagara is collected on the bus and is estimated at approximately $75 per person, subject to change depending on group discounts. Crossing the Rainbow Bridge into Canada is optional, and passports are only required if you choose to cross. Transportation is $300 per person. A $150 deposit per person secures a seat, with the remaining $150 as the balance. Hotel accommodations are $267 per night, or $800 for three nights, with up to four guests per room, two beds in each room, and daily breakfast included. One person in each group handles the room payment, with a $400 deposit and a $400 remaining balance. A tip for the driver is collected at the end of the trip, and there will be a 50/50 and possibly a raffle during the ride.

Ocean City Motorcycle SwapMeet transforms Strawberry Crossroads into a 50-acre hub for a sprawling parts exchange, a bike show, and a biker camping party. Shoppers can search through tons of new and used motorcycle components offered at a fraction of retail prices, along with patches, tools, and other finds, with a mechanic on duty for added support. Food and cold beer are available, and discounted drinks benefit Abate of Maryland. A bike show hosted by TheCutRate adds to the festivities. Those with garages full of gear can sell on site. Dealer spaces measuring 10 by 30 feet are available for all four days, priced at $100 for used parts and $150 for non-motorcycle parts commercial vendors. Camping options start at $40, with trailer parking and vendor spots offered.

WTBA 3 day Workshop - Salisbury USA

A three day WTBA workshop at Parks Martial Arts focuses on hands-on training in Taiji and Chinese boxing, welcoming both newcomers and experienced practitioners. The opening sessions feature interactive pad work and drills 1 through 4, with a break in the middle of the day when participants can bring their own lunch or pick up something nearby, then training continues with Chinese boxing drills 1 to 4. The next day centers on Push Hands with time for free play and applications, followed by Sticky Hands through stages 1 to 3. The final day is devoted to YLC Taiji First Third, starting with applications practice and finishing with focused form corrections. Pricing is offered for the full three days or by single day, with different rates for standard attendees, WTBA active members, and first timers, defined as those who have not trained with Eli before. Discounts are available for students in full time education and for children.
