A traveling pop-up brings hand-breaded tenderloins to Terre Haute, with a delivery van set up in the Tractor Supply Company parking lot. Frozen tenderloins will be sold to the public in three varieties, Original, Spicy, and Grillers, offered as 10-count packages for $24 each. It is a convenient chance to stock the freezer without a trip to Swayzee. Availability is limited, and payment will be accepted by cash or credit and debit cards.

Part of a six week, eight meal global culinary series, this installment focuses on Mediterranean cuisine and features a generous family style menu of seven to eight courses. Pricing includes food, drinks, and dessert, with adult rates of $35 for dinner and $25 for breakfast, children 12 and under at half price, and children 4 and under free. A Full Passport covering all eight meals is available for $200 for adults and $100 for children. Reservations are required.

Thursday Jazz Jam

Music Makers Storytime

Indiana State Sanatorium

Haunted Nights is visiting one of the most active locations in the country. You can investigate three buildings and the tunnel system. The location has been a tuberculosis hospital, psychiatric facility, and nursing home. Visitors have reported apparitions, voices, physical contact, and shadow figures. Guests can bring paranormal investigation equipment, but wired camera systems are not allowed. Haunted Nights will also provide equipment for guests to use. You can also book a room with a queen size bed in the commercial building.

Mother’s Day Shattered Glass Class

Celebrate the special women in your life with a hands-on Mother’s Day shattered glass class designed for beginners. Guided by instructor Yvette Morgan, participants follow clear, step-by-step instruction to create a sparkling faux stained glass piece to display at home or give as a gift. No experience is required, and seating is limited.

Tiny Basket Class

At The Magpies' Nest, learn to crochet a tiny basket designed to pair with an air plant in a small, hands-on class. Instruction and a kit are priced at $20 and include yarn, an air plant, and a beverage. The class is led by Amy Schneider of 812HauteCreatives. Hooks and darning needles are available to use during the session, or participants may bring their own. Space is limited to eight people who already know basic crochet stitches such as chain, single crochet, and half double crochet.

Big Fun

The Big Fun Band takes the stage at Terre Haute Brewing Company for a special night honoring saxophone player Matthew Balensuela. This performance marks his last appearance with the band as he enters retirement. Seating is limited.

Beethoven & Bluegrass

At Tilson Auditorium, the orchestra marks 100 seasons as Indiana’s oldest professional orchestra with a Celebrate 100 program that blends classical and roots influences. Hear Sheridan Seyfried’s Concerto for Two Violins in a bluegrass style with soloists Nikki Chooi and Timothy Chooi, alongside Clarice Assad’s Baião N’ Blues and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7. The season introduces Music Director Roger Kalia, who will also discuss the repertoire and speak with the guest artists during Concert Conversations, which are free for concert ticket holders. A three-course Supper at the Symphony is available prior to the performance for $30, with meal reservations and concert admission sold separately. Spring Toddler Sports Classes

Spring toddler sports at Playpen Sports Academy offers coached, curriculum-driven classes for ages 2 to 6 that blend structured skill development with lively, playful movement. Life-Size Oregon Trail

Open to all ages, this full-scale, real-world version of the Oregon Trail sends teams along the historic path from Independence, Missouri to Oregon’s Willamette Valley. Expect challenges like broken gear, encounters with wildlife, and tough river crossings that call for teamwork and smart choices, with risks such as dysentery always lurking. The route starts at Dewey Point and ends at Fairbanks Park. Participants should wear comfortable walking shoes and dress appropriately for the weather.

TRM Spring Car Show

Community support for Ruby Case comes through a Row-a-Thon fundraiser centered on teamwork and meters logged. Teams of three take on a continuous two-hour effort to accumulate as much distance as possible. Entry is 100 dollars per team, and the team with the most meters at the end earns a free month of membership for each member. Bonus donation challenges can change the leaderboard. A 50 dollar donation adds 1,000 meters to any team. A 40 dollar donation places a weighted vest on a team for 1,500 meters. A 25 dollar donation subtracts 250 meters from any team of your choice. All proceeds go directly to Ruby Case’s college fund.

Rose Concert Band

The Rose-Hulman Concert Band presents its spring concert with rousing marches and catchy selections that keep the energy high. The program highlights rhythmic pieces and bright melodies for an engaging band music experience.

Extreme Bootcamp

An intensified bootcamp built around six rounds instead of three. There will be 10 minute breaks after rounds two and four, and the workout will be completely changed during each break. The fee is $20. Punchcards are accepted and will count as two punches, and memberships are not valid for this event. RSVPs are requested from those planning to attend, and questions can be directed to the organizer.

NAMI Vigo County hosts a peer-led support group at Memorial United Methodist Church in Terre Haute for adults living with mental illness and for family members supporting a loved one. The group offers a confidential, respectful space to talk about challenges, celebrate progress, and exchange practical coping strategies with others who understand. Meetings are facilitated by NAMI-trained leaders and are not clinical services or group therapy. Participants must be 18 or older. NAMI has no religious affiliation. Snacks and refreshments are provided. For entry, drive to the back of the building and use the door just past the canopy.

All ticket purchases are nonrefundable due to advance preparation. If you cannot attend, your ticket may be transferred to another person. In the rare case the resin does not cure properly, participants will be invited back to remake their project at a future class.

Pokemon Chaos Rising Prerelease

Experience the Mega Evolution: Chaos Rising prerelease at Full Moon Games and Footers Pizza. Participants who play may place a day-of pre-order for one Booster Box of Chaos Rising and an Elite Trainer Box at MSRP. Everyone who takes part is also entered into a drawing for a free Chaos Rising Booster Box. The entry fee is $30. Capacity is limited to 60 players, and entry is first come, first served. This event is for players only, and kits are provided for play rather than pickup. Each player receives a Build & Battle Kit and has 30 minutes to build a 40 card deck from its contents, with friendly help available for anyone new to deckbuilding. Play consists of three best-of-one rounds at 30 minutes each. For prizes, players receive one pack of Mega Evolution: Chaos Rising for every round completed, up to three packs by finishing all three. The Spaniels

Celebrate the legacy of The Spaniels, the American R&B doo-wop group behind the classic “Goodnite, Sweetheart, Goodnite”. Their story began in 1948 at Roosevelt High School in Gary, Indiana, where classmates Billy Shelton and Pookie Hudson sang together as The Three B’s. After graduation, and following local success with performances at regional sock hops, Hudson launched the first official version of The Spaniels. The group now carries on as The Spaniels Forever, with Shelton delivering beloved Spaniels hits and other selections in four-part harmony alongside Patrick Pitre, Gene Stewart, and Dan Porter. RAM Free Clinic - Terre Haute, Indiana

This free clinic at Terre Haute South High School in Terre Haute offers dental, vision, and general medical care at no cost on a first-come, first-served basis. All services are open to the public, and no identification or insurance is required. Because of limited capacity and the time needed for each procedure, patients may be asked to choose between dental and vision services, while general medical care is available to everyone who attends. Any posted end time does not guarantee service availability, as capacity can be reached quickly. A dedicated patient parking lot will be available throughout the clinic weekend. When you arrive, RAM staff and volunteers will explain next steps and guide you through clinic procedures. Once capacity is reached, additional patients cannot be admitted and the clinic will begin closing and packing up. Arriving as early as possible offers the best chance of receiving services. Unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather or volunteer cancellations may affect opening procedures and limit the number of patients served. If you plan to come early, bring your own food, water, medications, and weather-appropriate clothing. Restrooms will be available at the parking area.
