Back on the Street Cruise In to Save Garfield Theater

Car enthusiasts and neighbors come together for a cruise-in supporting the effort to save the historic Garfield Theater. A section of the street will be closed to make room for show vehicles, music, and plenty of neighborhood spirit. Admission is free, and donations toward the cause are appreciated. Expect hot dogs while supplies last, a 50/50 raffle to boost fundraising, and a crowd-voted Terry Mullen Trophy. Each car will receive a number, and everyone on site can vote for a favorite to decide the winner. There is no rain date, and organizers are not responsible for accidents.

NRHT, Inc. 2026 Bike Rides (Vigo Co.)

This is the third ride in a six part 2026 series by NRHT, Inc., highlighting open segments of the cross state National Road Heritage Trail. The route totals 25 miles and features Terre Haute’s National Road Heritage Trail and connectors, Vigo County’s scenic causeway to West Terre Haute, and the packed stone Wabashiki Trail. Riders will set out from the north end of Fairbanks Park, cross the Wabash River, and follow the causeway to the Dewey Point Trailhead. A 4 mile out and back section runs along the edge of the Wabashiki Fish and Wildlife preserve. After returning to Terre Haute, the ride continues for an 18 mile out and back on ISU’s trails and the National Road Heritage Trail, with stops at two interpretive panels about the Historic National Road, including one at a historic filling station on the Rose Hulman campus, and a lunch break at the trailside Treehouse Eatery & Drinkery near the end. Participation is at each rider’s own risk, and minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Chaos Origins Premiere - Win-a-Box + Pack Per Win

This Chaos Origins premiere takes place at Full Moon Games and Footers Pizza and features a Traditional tournament with a win-a-box structure and a pack awarded for every win. Entry is $22.50 and includes five Chaos Origins packs, a Field Center, an OTS Pack, and tournament entry, with packs handed out upon payment. Premiere purchasing remains available until the tournament ends. After the tournament concludes, raffles will give away three playmats and three promos. Taking part in the tournament is not required to be eligible for the raffle, and raffle prizes can be picked up later. First place earns a booster box, a playmat, a promo, and a Field Center. All other participants receive one pack per win plus a Field Center.

Attack of the Vine!

At Full Moon Games and Footers Pizza, this Lorcana Attack of the Vine prerelease features a Win a Box prize structure in a Draft and Sealed hybrid format. Each participant receives a prerelease kit with six booster packs, one of six promo cards, a cardboard deck box, four dice, a set-specific item, and a rules item. Players open three packs to begin, then draft the other three as in a typical draft, and Limited decks may include any number of inks. The tournament is limited to four rounds. A 4-0 record awards a booster box of Attack of the Vine, and all other participants earn one booster pack for every match win. The entry fee is $35. This is a Ravensburger Play Hub event.

Vendetta Pre-Rift

RAM Free Clinic

This free clinic at Terre Haute South High School in Terre Haute offers dental, vision, and general medical care at no cost on a first-come, first-served basis. All services are open to the public, and no identification or insurance is required. Because of limited capacity and the time needed for each procedure, patients may be asked to choose between dental and vision services, while general medical care is available to everyone who attends. Any posted end time does not guarantee service availability, as capacity can be reached quickly. A dedicated patient parking lot will be available throughout the clinic weekend. When you arrive, RAM staff and volunteers will explain next steps and guide you through clinic procedures. Once capacity is reached, additional patients cannot be admitted and the clinic will begin closing and packing up. Arriving as early as possible offers the best chance of receiving services. Unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather or volunteer cancellations may affect opening procedures and limit the number of patients served. If you plan to come early, bring your own food, water, medications, and weather-appropriate clothing. Restrooms will be available at the parking area. Help-A-Family at Christmas Golf Scramble

The 34th annual Charlie Hapenny Memorial golf scramble at Oak Ridge Golf Course supports the Help-A-Family at Christmas program, turning a round of golf into holiday assistance for local children. The entry fee is $60 per player and includes a green fee, a cart, and lunch. Cash prizes are awarded to the top finishers, with $300 for first place, $200 for second, and $100 for third. Event proceeds provide clothing for children in need during the Christmas season, and through donations, sponsorships, and participation, last year’s scramble helped 57 children from the community.

Friday Night Flights & Bites

Corey Evitts, also known as The One Band, delivers an energetic performance while playing multiple instruments. A Brief History of Transportation in the United States

Transportation historian Jim Grey offers a wide-ranging look at how people have traveled across the United States, from before the nation’s founding into the modern era. The presentation traces the shift from Indigenous pathways becoming early routes, to the growth fueled by canals and railroads that supported settlement and commerce, to the automobile’s influence on everyday life and the role of paved roads in reshaping travel. The program is included with general admission, and members of OLLI and the History Center receive free entry.

Bringing Back the Bash 2026 rolls in with a full day of car culture and family-friendly fun at The Mill. Expect gleaming show vehicles and a burnout competition, with live music setting the tone and a variety of food trucks serving crowd favorites. Children can enjoy a complimentary play zone, and Jeep rides add to the excitement, along with other activities throughout the event. As evening arrives, the celebration moves onto the streets with a cruise along Wabash Avenue. That's What She Said Terre Haute - Matinee

The She Said Project brings its That’s What She Said storytelling event to Hatfield Hall in Terre Haute, where 10 women from the community will step into the spotlight to share personal stories of triumph, joy, obstacles, and resilience. Running since 2013, the series has connected with audiences across the country through intimate, empowering narratives told by local voices. The lineup features Shikha Bhattacharyya, Davida Cartwright, Mila Thomas Fuller, Trish Gower, Keira Kerr, Sara Hall, Rikki LeDune, Bev Merritt-Hicks, Raven Newton, and Michelle Kirkman. This production is led by producer Bev Merritt-Hicks and director Lori Aden. Each edition partners with a local cause, and this one supports Happy Tails Animal Rescue, a foster-based organization that cares for animals with nowhere else to turn by placing them in nurturing homes to decompress, heal, and receive evaluations on their way to a forever home.
