Based in Massachusetts, Maloney crafts vivid, introspective songs that balance grief and joy. She has performed at more than 1,000 shows internationally, released nine studio albums, and earned national airplay on NPR stations. Her music has reached broad audiences through editorial Spotify playlists, Starbucks in-store playlists, and a placement of her song “Nightstand Drawer” in the season finale of the CBS series Elementary. Her album Exploding Star emerged from a profoundly personal time following her father’s passing. She recorded in her former childhood home and played her father’s guitar throughout, shaping a collection that reflects loss, change, and renewal. Maloney has toured across the U.S. and Canada and has shared stages with artists including Shakey Graves, Gary Clark Jr., Mary Chapin Carpenter, Shawn Colvin, and Dar Williams. Val Haller of the New York Times has praised the strength and presence of her voice. Advance tickets are $8 for members and $12 for nonmembers, plus fees. If capacity allows, door admission is $12 for members and $16 for nonmembers. At check in, attendees may be asked to share a table and seat number. Water and soda are available at the bar for $1, and guests may bring their own food and beverages, including items from Rhythm Kitchen.
