The Crucible

Presented at Thunder Ridge High School Titans, this production of The Crucible brings a celebrated American drama to the stage, set amid the Salem witch trials. The story follows a young farmer, his wife, and a servant whose false accusation leads to the wife’s arrest. Hoping to set things right, the farmer takes the servant to court to confess the truth, but the proceedings spiral into fear and falsehood. Instead of freeing his wife, he is swept up in the same hysteria and condemned with many others. The play offers a clear-eyed look at how suspicion and manipulation can overtake a community and why its themes remain relevant today.

Explore a Star Wars themed Minifig Maker, encounter Star Wars characters, enjoy caricature drawings, and snag a mini AT-AT included with a purchase. The festivities also feature Star Wars plush toys, LEGO set giveaways, and other surprises. Additional details will be announced closer to the event.

Vegetables 2

Rush's Kitchen Supply presents the next installment in a vegetable-focused class that builds on earlier lessons in preparation techniques. This session highlights braising as a way to bring out more flavor from vegetables.

Children's Story Time

Children can enjoy stories read aloud by a rotating group of readers. Sessions often feature a craft, songs, or both. There is no cost to attend, and kids of all ages are welcome.

Female International Ride Day (braap)

Get back into the groove of dirt riding at Noise Park with a friendly day on easy to moderate terrain. The area welcomes ATVs up to 50 inches wide as well as dirt bikes, dual sport and adventure bikes. Everyone is invited, including friends, spouses and those who are just there to watch. There is no entrance fee to ride, but an Idaho Offroad Permit is required. Look for the RIUG tent on site, and assistance with parking, loading and unloading is available. Camping is not allowed at Noise Park, though it is permitted across the street on BLM land. Dress for cool spring conditions and bring essentials like chairs, tools, fuel, food, boots, a helmet, gloves and oil. An informal dinner in Idaho Falls may happen afterward, although it is not part of the event. When turning off Highway 20 into Noise Park, use the parking lot on the right and avoid the race track in the back.

Derby Day 2026

Celebrate the second annual Bone Derby Days at Steele-N-Jo’s Bone, a hallmark spring gathering that pairs a Kentucky Derby viewing party with an unmistakable Idaho twist. Picture a hilltop spread of mint juleps, smoked chicken, charcuterie skewers, and mini pecan pies, with a full day focused on connection, laughter, and friendly rivalry. Big hats and bold colors set the tone alongside Bone-style mimosas and Bloody Mandy Jo’s, leading into the live broadcast of the big race and a community-voted hat contest. The Derby Game invites each participant to compete under a playful jockey pseudonym used on slates, race calls, and prize boards. Bring a name or create one at check in. Each slate counts as a full race at $5 per slate, with prizes instead of cash to help keep Bone alive and wild. A minimum of five slates per jockey applies, with opportunities to play more if seating allows. Winners earn prize credits that can be redeemed at the Prize Table, and slates run throughout the day leading up to the broadcast. To participate in the Derby Game, a reserved table is required since seating is limited. The Lower Room offers one table for eight and two tables for four, the Middle Room has four tables for four, and additional outdoor seating may open if the weather cooperates. This spirited tradition honors legends and legacies, celebrating the freedom of gathering where the wild things roam.

East Idaho Cinco de Mayo Celebration

This 40th annual East Idaho Cinco de Mayo celebration takes place at the Snake River Event Center at Shilo Inn. Enjoy mariachis, vibrant dance performances, and a variety of vendors, with more to experience throughout the festivities. There is no cost to attend and the event welcomes the whole family.

Battle of the bars

Battle of the Bars brings teams together for a doubles showdown. Pair up with your chosen partner and enter for $30 per team. Each team must represent the same bar, and players should know which bar they are playing for. A potluck lunch is part of the day, so bring a dish to share. Matches will take place at Solids and Stripes and TCs Pub.

Idaho Falls Rescue Mission Food Drive

This community effort gathers food and resource donations for the Idaho Falls Rescue Mission. Local neighbors have prepared donation bags on their porches, and volunteers will meet at the church to pick up route maps, form teams, and follow assigned routes to collect the bags throughout the neighborhood. After the collection, participants return to the church for a fellowship lunch as a thank you for the work completed. RC Music Collective - Idaho Falls

At the Colonial Theater in Idaho Falls, the RC Music Collective, formed through the Regnum Christi apostolate, will share spiritual music as part of Salt & Light Radio’s May Concert Gala Tour that also visits Cottonwood and Twin Falls. Tickets are $25 for attendees 18 and older and $15 for those under 18. A freewill offering will be collected in support of Salt & Light Radio.

Saturday Storytime

A 15 to 30 minute storytime takes place at the stage in the children’s area, offering reading and fun for the whole family.

Fostering Idaho 5k and Inflatable Fun Run

The inaugural Fostering Idaho 5k features a scenic country course through Rigby, Idaho and finishes at the Rigby High School Football Field. Representatives from the Fostering Idaho Program will be available to share information and answer questions. The event concludes with a playful 100 meter dash down the football field in any blow-up costume, with any shape welcome. No pre-registration or payment is required for the 100 meter dash.

Brody's Ride: 10th Annual For the Love of Bone 2026

The 10th annual Brody’s Ride features wave-based departures, multiple card stops, and sponsor support. Online pre-registration is available for $35 for the first vehicle and $25 per passenger, with participants selecting a departure wave during sign-up. Same-day registration is $40 at Steele-n-Jo’s. The day includes a welcome and safety briefing at the Bonneville County Parking Lot, followed by check-in and staggered starts. Card stops include the Bonneville County Parking Lot with support from Canyon Creek Retreats, additional stops backed by Greenskeeper Landscape & Excavation, LLC and ERMALS Auto Body, one location currently open for a new sponsor, and a final stop at the Steele-n-Jo’s pavilion. A winner will be announced, and a raffle will be held. Participants are asked to be courteous, ride safely, and respect the land. Depart with your assigned wave to reduce congestion. Please help by collecting trash along the route, as each full bag qualifies for a prize. Outside food and beverages are not permitted while on Steele-n-Jo’s property. All pets must be contained or kept on a leash.

Preparing for college, a mission, or life on your own can bring new challenges. This course focuses on real-world awareness and safety so participants can move forward with confidence. Learn how to recognize and understand violent behavior and potential attackers, set and maintain boundaries, de-escalate tense situations, build situational awareness through practical exercises, and practice essential physical self-defense techniques. Separate courses are offered for females and males, reflecting the different types of violence each group may be more likely to face and tailoring the discussion and skill development to those needs.

CIRCUS GOLDEN STAR, Idaho Falls, ID

Circus Golden Star brings a brand-new Big Top spectacle to Idaho Falls, offering a family-friendly mix of illusions, high-energy thrills, and classic circus atmosphere. Conceived by a Finnish circus director, the production blends European flair with the spirit of the American big top to captivate audiences of every age. This vibrant performance fills the tent with excitement and magic from start to finish.

Big Rig and Bike Show

Big rigs and motorcycles gather at Rigby Middle School for a community show that supports local veterans. After its first year, the event returns with the same mission, raising funds for Snake River VFW Post 1004 in Rigby through a registered nonprofit. Organizers are seeking sponsors and donations, and a Facebook page with updates and show details will be launched soon.

Big Rig and Bike Show & Shine

This show and shine brings together big rigs and bikes to support VFW Post 1004. Vehicle entry is $40. Expect food, collectibles, raffles, and activities for children, along with live music and a bike rodeo.

Third Eye Chakra Sound Bath

The Changing Seasons 5k presented by the Idaho Falls Chukars & Spud Kings

Presented by the Idaho Falls Chukars and Idaho Falls Spud Kings, the second annual Changing Seasons 5K follows a route that starts at Mountain America Center, passes through the neighborhoods of Snake River Landing, continues along the Snake River Greenbelt, and finishes at Melaleuca Field. Participants conclude the run by stepping on home plate inside the ballpark, a field that has seen swings from MLB players such as Billy Butler and Salvador Perez. The event partners with Special Olympics Idaho, an organization focused on inclusion that empowers people with intellectual disabilities across Idaho to discover strengths, build friendships, and achieve more in sports and daily life.

Ty Detmer Football Camp

A football camp at Rigby High School offers athletes entering grades 1 through 5 the opportunity to learn from Heisman Trophy winner Ty Detmer. Attendance is limited to 100 athletes, and space is expected to fill quickly.

Gather: Farm Stand Tour

Visit six local farm stands, meet the makers, and discover what each one offers on a self-guided tour. Pick up a passport at any stop, gather a stamp at all six locations, and complete the route to be entered to win a large collaborative gift basket contributed by every stand. Participating stops include Heritage Home Family Farm, Little Farmhouse Market, Little Pig Farmstand, Ritchie’s Roadside Farm Stand, Sage Acre Dairy Goats, and Handmade & Homegrown Country Market.

Vandal Day with the Idaho Falls Chukars

Fellow Vandals gather at Melaleuca Field to root for the Idaho Falls Chukars in a matchup with the Ogden Raptors. Seats are reserved in Section L3 on the third base side, and Vandal pricing is set at $14 per ticket. Tickets will be sent digitally before the game.

Timberwolves Futbol Club Tryouts

Timberwolves Futbol Club is hosting player tryouts for the 2026 to 2027 season at Mel Erikson Sunnyside Park. Tryouts are open to boys and girls born between 2009 and 2019. Retro X Cosplay Prom

A cosplay-centered dance presented by The Heart and Idaho Falls Retro X invites fans to show off their best looks on the dance floor. Duck Donuthon 2026

This playful run pairs miles with donuts at McCowin Park. After each mile, participants step into the Pig Pen to eat a donut, then head back out for another lap. All ages are welcome. The aim is connection as much as sound, with food and drinks available and an atmosphere that celebrates Idaho’s musical roots. Ticket options include single-show access and a bundled choice that covers all three nights with added perks like drinks, food, and swag. Kenny Feidler Howlin in Bone

At Steele-N-Jo's Bone, alt country artist Kenny Feidler brings gritty storytelling and a rock and roll edge shaped by songs born in rodeo arenas and long miles on the road. His self-written catalog spans more than a decade, balancing personal truth with empathy, and includes projects such as the 34-track Live at Buck’s and The Western Tragedy. The lineup features the National Anthem and performances by Chance Albertson, Dawson Moon, and the Aaron Ball Band, leading to a headlining set from Kenny Feidler. 22nd Annual Car Show & Drags

Now in its 22nd year, Rigby Hot Classic Nights returns to Rigby City Park with two days of classic cars, drag racing, live entertainment, an outdoor family movie, stunt riding demonstrations, food trucks, vendors, and activities for all ages. The opening evening centers on a family film in the park paired with plenty of food and fun. The following day expands into a large classic car showcase, 100 foot drag races, a burnout showcase with stunt riders, a kids bike rodeo and other activities, a cruise parade along Main Street, a raffle booth and vendor fair, and additional live entertainment. Spectator entry is free. Proceeds support the local community and Meals on Wheels benefiting Rigby seniors.

Christmas in July Craft Fair

Celebrate a summertime spin on the holidays at a Christmas in July craft fair in Idaho Falls. The Bonneville County Fairgrounds will feature more than 100 local vendors set up both indoors and outdoors, plus food trucks and plenty of handmade finds to explore.
