Registration covers up to three players per team and includes pool play to set seeds, then a single-elimination playoff, along with bar drink and food specials. Matches use basic Kaboom Beach rules. TUE. 3v3 Mixed Sand Volleyball Mini Tourney / Ticket Sports Bar #2 (6/30/26)
Mixed 3v3 sand volleyball takes center stage at Ticket Sports Bar #2 with a bring-your-own-team mini tournament. Teams play with three competitors in a mixed format, either two men and one woman or two women and one man. Registration covers up to three players per team. The event begins with pool play to establish seeds, then advances to single elimination playoffs for the top teams. Basic Kaboom Beach rules apply. The serving side may not screen the server or the flight of the ball, and the service order stays the same for the entire set. A serve cannot be attacked when the ball is above the top of the net, and serves may not be received with open hands. Any overhand pass or set that is sent over the net must be square to the shoulders, forward or backward. Attack hits may not use open-handed finger action, and fingertips must be rigid and together. Touching the net is not allowed. Rally scoring is used, each team has one 30 second timeout per set, and there are no substitutes in the playoffs, only rostered players. Have fun. For playoff procedures, the higher seed chooses to serve, receive, or select a side of the court, and the lower seed picks from the remaining options. Little Stranger at Vinyl Music Hall
Little Stranger brings the Broken Hearted Boys Tour to Vinyl Music Hall with special guests Tropidelic, Jarv, and Damn Skippy. The Philadelphia-raised, Charleston-based pair of Kevin and John Shields craft an alternative indie hip hop sound that blends tuneful hooks with spirited lyricism and a tightly choreographed, anything-can-happen stage vibe. Their genre-blurring approach has drawn comparisons that span from Remi Wolf and Still Woozy to early 2000s Timbaland, Gorillaz, and NERD, and their resume includes millions of streams, packed rooms across the country, and sets at major festivals such as Lollapalooza, Governors Ball, Hangout Fest, BottleRock, and Levitate. Their album Sat Around Trippin on Ineffable Records was developed largely in their Charleston home studio after an inspiring writing stint in a remote North Carolina cabin, yielding songs that balance wit, heart, and groove. Highlights include Kama Sumatra, which champions acceptance with a sun-kissed bounce, Fly Guy, a playful look at outgrowing old habits, God at a Festival featuring Andy Frasco that channels the freedom and expression of a festival crowd, and Nobody Like Me, a punchy rocker that confronts isolation in a status-obsessed world. This is a general admission, standing-room-only event and is open to all ages. Guests under 21 will be charged an additional $5 cash at the door. Attendees under 16 must be with a ticketed adult guardian. Lineups and times may change. Tickets suspected of being purchased for resale can be canceled at the discretion of Vinyl Music Hall and/or SeeTickets. There are no refunds and no re-entry.

Saenger Theatre8/23- Save Ferris
Save Ferris delivers a high-energy show built on the ska, punk, and rock blend that launched the band from Orange County. Starting in 1995 with house parties and small venues, the group gained early momentum when KROQ’s Rodney Bingenheimer aired their cover of Dexys Midnight Runners’ Come On Eileen, securing regular spins without a record deal as vocalist Monique Powell also managed the band. Epic Records signed them in 1997, their debut It Means Everything followed, and they spent the next six years touring worldwide. After a pause in 2003, Powell revived the project in 2013 with a new lineup, celebrating the return with a sold-out night at the Pacific Amphitheater in Costa Mesa and a Santa Monica Pier performance that drew over 20,000 people. Powell remains at the forefront with an onstage presence that powers the live experience. Following extensive touring in 2023 and new music prepared for 2024, the band takes the stage with fresh momentum.
