Gallery of Local Art presents the finale of Turtle Talks on the Terrace, wrapping up a series of conversations that paired learning with support for Flagler Turtle Patrol. Nic Poorte returns to field questions about turtles. The total raised for Flagler Turtle Patrol will be announced, and the gallery will present its own donation. A surprise guest is expected, bringing a surprise of his own. After the talk, the gallery will remain open so visitors can browse turtle themed art.

Golf Tournament

The Women’s Council of Realtors Flagler County Golf Tournament brings golfers together at Grand Haven Golf Club in Palm Coast, Florida for a fundraiser that supports the Council’s mission to advance women as professionals and leaders in business, the industry, and the community they serve. Brian Earl Foster Invitational Bull Riding

The Brian Earl Foster Invitational Bull Riding takes place at the Flagler County Fairgrounds. Admission is $20 for adults and $10 for kids ages 5 to 12, with children 4 and under admitted free. Next Chapter Support Services Workshop - Social Communication

Next Chapter Support Services presents a Life Skills Workshop for adults 18 and older with autism and related intellectual and developmental disabilities, focusing on practical social communication skills for everyday life. Through interactive activities and a supportive environment, participants explore how to start and finish conversations politely and confidently, tell the difference between acquaintances, friends, and strangers and adjust communication to fit each, recognize verbal and nonverbal signs that show when someone wants to keep talking or may need space, keep conversations balanced with turn taking and follow up questions, use brief pauses to improve understanding and reduce anxiety, and read common body language cues such as posture, eye contact, and hand movements. The session includes a lunchtime conversation practice, so participants are encouraged to bring a packed lunch. The workshop takes place at the Palm Coast Community Center in the Exploration Room, and the cost is $20 per participant.

A 30 hour Community Emergency Response Team basic course is offered by Flagler County Emergency Management and Flagler Volunteer Services at the Flagler County Emergency Operations Center. The series concludes with a comprehensive review, a final exam, and a realistic disaster exercise that leads to graduation. Attendance at every session is required to earn certification, with the option to make up missed classes in future basic courses. Digital manuals, CERT backpacks, and all course materials are included. A printed manual is available for a small fee, and graduates receive a T-shirt and a CERT ID.

On site support includes help with Medicaid and SNAP applications from a DCF ESS representative as well as from the Flagler Cares MyACCESS Lab, A1C checks from the Department of Health in Flagler, early childhood education guidance from the Early Learning Coalition, autism screenings through Easterseals, and resources related to domestic and sexual violence from the Family Life Center. Guests can also access vision and blood sugar screenings through the Lions Club, learn about prevention and youth programming with One Voice for Volusia, receive testing for HIV, hepatitis C, and STIs from Sirius Healthcare, and connect with tobacco prevention and cessation support through Tobacco Free Flagler. Orienteering Live Event

At the Florida Agricultural Museum in Palm Coast, this orienteering event welcomes individuals, friends, and families to explore the grounds with a map and compass. As the season winds down, it offers a chance to get out on the course. Public pre-registration is available, and registration is handled at the venue. Participants may start as individuals or in teams. There is a three hour time limit, and everyone must return before the courses close. A range of courses is offered. White is tailored to newcomers and children, keeping to trails with clearly visible checkpoints. Yellow suits beginners, mostly following paths with some controls a short distance into the woods and opportunities for brief off-trail shortcuts. Orange provides an intermediate challenge, blending on-trail navigation with cross-country segments that rely on more obvious mapped features. Green is an advanced option that stays off trail and depends on subtler terrain clues. Blue is the longest of the advanced courses. Entry is $12 for FLO members and $15 for non-members. An electronic timing stick can be rented for $3 per team for those who need one. Bring a compass or rent one for $2.

2026 Spring Arts Festival & Garden Show

Admission is free and open to everyone. Bonsai & Beer @ The Brass Tap

A relaxed, hands-on bonsai workshop at The Brass Tap - Palm Coast invites participants to explore the art of miniature trees while enjoying a beverage with friends. Led by professional bonsai artist Alex Stanford, who owns the oldest bonsai nursery in Northeast Florida, the session covers essential styling skills with no prior experience or tools required. Participants work with tropical species that are simple to maintain, beginning with a brief overview of bonsai history and core principles, then potting, pruning, and shaping a tree. Everyone leaves with a personalized bonsai to nurture at home. Each ticket includes a quality pre-bonsai grown for training, a glazed ceramic pot, bonsai soil, wire, drainage mesh and fertilizer, step-by-step instruction, use of all necessary tools, and aftercare advice with ongoing guidance. Experience a relaxed poker trail ride at Princess Place Preserve. Marked 4 mile and 7 mile equestrian trails will have buckets filled with poker chips. The highest hands will be recorded, with cash prizes that include $200 for the top hand and $50 for second and third. The entry fee is $20 per rider and can be paid with cash or Square. The session follows a jam circle style where participants sit together and take turns selecting a song and key to lead while others play and sing along. Players may trade short solos or simply pass when it is their turn. Those who prefer to listen or add vocals are welcome. Taking place at the Flagler County Emergency Operations Center, the training prepares volunteers to assist the Emergency Call Center by teaching the skills needed to complete initial call intake for people affected by emergency situations.
