"All About Joel": A Tribute to Billy Joel

Veteran singer and pianist David Clark, from Long Island, brings "ALL ABOUT JOEL," a tribute that channels the music and energy of Billy Joel with faithful piano work, strong lead vocals, and a charismatic stage presence. His connection to Joel’s songs began early, from learning piano at six to the release of The Stranger at age ten, a milestone that launched decades of performing across Long Island, New York, and the Northeastern Tri-State area since 1985 at both private events and large concerts. The show features Joel’s hits delivered with musicianship, wit, and humor. Clark has performed alongside former members of Joel’s recording and touring bands, including the 2013 "LONG, LONG TIME" reunion recreating the 1972 WMMR Philadelphia Sigma radio concert with Larry Russell, Rhys Clark, and Don Evans. In 2014 he served as lead singer and pianist at the Long Island Music Hall of Fame induction of the Lords of 52nd Street, then toured with them from 2014 to 2020 alongside Richie Cannata, Russell Javors, and Liberty DeVitto. Presented to audiences nationwide, "ALL ABOUT JOEL" celebrates the Piano Man’s legacy through precision, personality, and a deep-rooted love of the material. Offstage, Clark resides in New Jersey with his wife, Smooth Jazz trumpet artist Cindy Bradley, and their five dogs.

New Gymkhana Season Opener - Drift & Roll Racing

At Homestead-Miami Speedway, Street Racing Made Safe and the Formula & Automobile Racing Association introduce a Gymkhana-style drift series that adds the clock to the familiar mix of speed, style, and angle. The format blends creativity with discipline, asking drivers to balance expressive driving with precise timing on a single course. A 32-car bracket drives the action through tandem battles on the speedway’s fast sections. Drivers alternate between leading and chasing, with the leader setting the pace through designated drift zones and the chaser working to stay close, match angle, and keep the pressure on. Qualifying narrows the field, then head-to-head runs decide the first champions of the series. Two tire classes keep competition close, a 300TW category presented by Cosmo Tires and a 200TW class. Winners earn tire prizes, including a set of 300TW tires from Cosmo Tires for that class and a set for the 200TW winner. During the day, the Car Club Invitational spotlights South Florida’s automotive communities, focusing on groups and the people behind them. Each group receives a coupon code tied to discounted registration, with payouts per entry, a $500 bonus for the group with the most cars, and trophies for participating groups. At night, FARA Nights takes over under the lights. Street Racing Made Safe hosts roll racing on the straightaways in a sanctioned, safety-focused alternative to street racing, creating an atmosphere where performance, culture, and community come together. The result is a launch that unites timed drifting, structured competition, car culture showcases, and nighttime roll racing within motorsports.

Mysteries of Coral Castle Private Group Tour Excursion

Nevermore Spiritualism Studio hosts a private group excursion that explores the enigmas of Coral Castle. The day begins at White Lion Cafe with lunch and conversation about the site’s legends and the puzzle of its construction. The story of Edward Leedskalnin, a Latvian immigrant who quarried, carved, and moved massive coral stones on his own, frames the discussion and invites questions about whether the accomplishment was purely engineering or something more enigmatic. After lunch, the group travels to Coral Castle for a guided tour that highlights the towering coral structures and distinctive architecture, theories about how the stones were moved, Leedskalnin’s writings on magnetism and energy, and symbolic or esoteric perspectives on the site. The outing concludes at the Coral Castle Museum Café with refreshments and dinner, creating space to share impressions from the visit. Donations or love gifts are welcome, with a typical amount of 20 to 25 dollars, and all contributions support shaman, group leader, and South Florida community event coordinator Erica Nevermore and future community events. Admission to Coral Castle is purchased on site for 25 dollars.

The Mermaid Summit 2026

The Mermaid Summit 2026 in Homestead, Miami, Florida brings together a vibrant community for four days that blend culture, creativity, and ocean-inspired fun. The experience features a welcoming start for new swimmers, a Mermaid Makeover with hair and nails, and a lively karaoke session. Guests can explore the Sea Shop, craft items like crowns, keychains, hair clips, or art, and take in talks such as Tide Talk, Mer Symbols and Myth, and Birth of a Mer. A new documentary premiere adds a cinematic touch, with time in the pool for an introduction to mermaiding and a group swim leading into a festive Wet Gala. At Secret Gardens Miami, the gathering continues with music and movement like yoga, stretching, or dance, followed by a group photo shoot. Playful MerPlay Tidal Games invite friendly challenges such as Sharks and Minnows, posing as sea creatures, and dance across the seven seas. Highlights include a fire performance segment, a performers showcase, and a bonfire paired with a night swim. The final day centers on reflection and connection with a Sacred Water Ceremony, then shifts to the shoreline for beach time, a cleanup effort, and unhurried moments riding the waves. Throughout the summit, this multicultural mermaid experience celebrates community and the sea with a regal, magical spirit.
