Lead With Love

Celebrate the spirit of Mother’s Day with a mother and child equine experience followed by a garden brunch at Bella Terra Hills. This is not a riding lesson, it centers on connection, reflection, and presence. In a round pen, a professional trainer named Tara guides each pair to communicate with a horse through intention, energy, posture, and calm, confident leadership. Horses often reflect what people bring into the space, encouraging authenticity and mindful interaction. Each family receives dedicated time in the round pen, while others watch quietly from an elevated viewing area and learn through observation. Attendance is limited to six families to keep the experience personal and unhurried. After the horse sessions, participants gather near the white barn for a relaxed, picnic-style farm brunch beneath the oak trees. A seasonal menu features fresh fruit, pastries, waffles or pancakes, quiche, yogurt parfaits, juices, infused waters, coffee, and herbal teas. A professional photographer will be on site, with one complimentary high-resolution image provided to each family and additional images available for purchase. Pricing is $145 for a mother with one child, with $40 for each additional child.

Morgan Wallen: Still The Problem Tour 2026

Morgan Wallen brings his Still The Problem stadium tour to Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, building on the momentum of his previous I’m The Problem run that drew praise from outlets like the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and AZ Central. The 19-time Billboard Music Award winner is mounting an 11-city, 21-show trek of stadiums, with many markets hosting back-to-back nights, and this stop is among the tour’s visits to major college football venues. The lineup changes from city to city. Direct support on select dates includes Brooks & Dunn, HARDY, Ella Langley and Thomas Rhett, with additional sets from Gavin Adcock, Flatland Cavalry and Hudson Westbrook, plus opening performances by Jason Scott & The High Heat, Zach John King, Vincent Mason and Blake Whiten. Inspired by his fourth studio album I’m The Problem, released via Big Loud and Mercury Records, the tour celebrates a project that spent 12 non-consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and 13 non-consecutive weeks atop the Billboard Canadian Albums chart. It became his third straight album to lead the Billboard 200 for at least 10 weeks, a first in chart history. Internationally, the album debuted at No. 1 in seven countries, marked his first No. 1 on the UK Official Charts and placed him among the few artists to debut there at the top with a country album. In Australia, it logged three consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the ARIA albums chart, while What I Want featuring Tate McRae held the top spot for five weeks on the country airplay chart. A portion of each ticket benefits the Morgan Wallen Foundation, which supports youth programs in sports and music. Recent contributions included more than $600,000 in instruments for schools in touring cities across the United States, including Gulf Shores, Alabama, along with a $30,000 donation to the Toronto Blue Jays’ Jays Care RBI program.

SANTIGOLD - Live at Heartwood Soundstage

Santigold takes the stage at Heartwood Soundstage for an outdoor, all ages concert that highlights a career defined by fearless experimentation and a bold visual sensibility. After the adventurous I Don’t Want: The Gold Fire Sessions mixtape, which explored Afro-Caribbean rhythms, she contributed backing vocals to several songs on Tyler, the Creator’s Igor and collaborated with him on the Grinch-inspired Lights On, and teamed with DJ Mehdi, Busy P, and reggae pioneer U-Roy on a version of Man Next Door. Her fourth album, Spirituals, looks at what it means to endure and grow in challenging times, focusing on transformation, transcendence, and evolution. Largely made during the 2020 lockdown while she balanced family life, the record came together through virtual sessions with collaborators including Rostam, Boys Noize, Dre Skull, P2J, Nick Zinner, SBTRKT, JakeOne, Illangelo, Doc McKinney, Psymun, Ricky Blaze, Lido, Ray Brady, and Ryan Olson. The title nods to the tradition of spirituals that helped Black communities find a sense of freedom through sound and performance. Beyond the studio, Santigold has partnered with visual artists such as Kehinde Wiley, Wangechi Mutu, Kara Walker, and Sanford Biggers, explored brand collaborations, and appeared in comedic roles on The Office and Adult Swim’s NTSF:SD:SUV. She is expanding Spirituals into a multisensory world with music, video vignettes, new ways of sharing her visual art, a forthcoming natural skincare line and a tea bearing the Spirituals name, and a podcast of conversations with fellow artists and visionaries. One dollar from each ticket supports Food For The Poorja.

This event is sponsored by the Children’s Trust of Alachua County, and car seats are available for eligible caregivers who preregister. To get the most out of the visit, try installing the seat in your vehicle beforehand, bring the car seat instruction manual and your vehicle owner’s manual, and, if your child has already arrived, have their current weight and height on hand.

With Everything Going On - Live at Heartwood Soundstage

Curated by Gainesville songwriter Jordan Burchel, this gathering at Heartwood Soundstage is both a festival and the official release celebration for his new album of the same name. Local and regional artists including Nick Lutsko String Band, The Nancys, Lauris Vidal, Spencer Thomas, Morningbell, Lauren Woodall, and others come together, reflecting voices shaped by this place and moment. Born from the challenge of making art in a heavy, chaotic time, the album and festival acknowledge doubts about creativity’s impact while embracing the pull to show up, create, and share in community. The experience makes room for that tension, inviting feeling and turning shared catharsis into a foundation for meaningful participation in the world. Alongside the reflection, look for scorching guitar solos, beers, and options for those skipping beer.
