Sculpt Your Story: Air-Dry Clay Creations: Part of the Creative Recharge Restorative Art Series

Set within Creative Recharge, a restorative art series of immersive workshops, this clay-focused session invites you to slow down and reconnect with your creativity. The series highlights different mediums while supporting mindfulness, self-expression, and balance, with other classes exploring ink and illumination, personal wellness, mandala design, coastal textures, and sparkling sun catchers. During this workshop, work with air-dry clay to hand-build a useful piece. Choose to craft a phone stand, a ring holder, or an incense burner. As your main piece sets, create a small intentional token impressed with a meaningful word you can keep with you. The process is soothing and tactile, encourages presence, brightens mood, and opens space for personal expression. Expect to leave with art you can enjoy every day. Individual classes are $45, or $35 for members, plus a $15 supply fee paid directly to the instructor at each class. The full six-class series is $250, or $190 for members. Single-session registration is available. Capacity is limited, so early sign-up is recommended.

In Memoriam: The Art of Steve Turner

DAAS CO-OP Art Gallery & Gifts in Fort Myers presents an opening reception honoring the work and legacy of Steve B. Turner. The showcase centers on paintings that reveal his lifelong connection to the water, with marine and nature themes that his family remembers as central to who he was. Turner was born in Lima, Ohio, raised in Fort Lauderdale, then spent formative years in California as a professional skateboarder and surfer while developing his artistic talents. He later returned to Florida and became a noted artist and home designer through Bradford & Company Design Group and SIM Art Gallery, contributing to projects across the United States as well as in Panama and Costa Rica. Among his achievements, he led the design of Cape Harbor in Cape Coral, where his artwork appeared at Rumrunners. This reception introduces a memorial exhibition that reflects his passion, creativity, and the many roles he embraced as an artist, designer, father, husband, and friend.

Pour Your Own Epoxy™ (August 31st at Fort Myers Brewing Co., Fort Myers, FL)

This hands-on workshop at Fort Myers Brewing Company invites participants to design and pour a custom epoxy creation. Choose from a charcuterie board with an epoxy river, a rotating tray, a clock, a wall-mounted key holder shelf, a set of coasters, or a small two-piece option. Projects feature select black walnut and other fine hardwoods, accented with as many as two epoxy colors that you choose at check-in. Each purchase includes a drink voucher, and a food truck will be available. After the session, pieces cure for about a week before entering a careful finishing phase that usually takes roughly eight to ten weeks. The overall timeline can vary with class size and shipping. When complete, your finished piece is shipped to you. All sales are final. If you are unable to attend, you may send someone in your place. Participants ages 12 and up need their own ticket, and a couples ticket allows two people to work together on a single project.
