A free Independence Day celebration by the water at Countess de Hoernle Park features live music, food trucks and vendors for purchase, and a fireworks finale to close the festivities. The program offers multiple performances leading up to the Fabulous Finale in the sky. Free parking is available at the Boca Raton Innovation Campus, and a shared ride drop-off area is provided. Please park only in designated lots. From the BRiC parking area, a Liberty Trail walk leads to the event site with holiday trivia along the way. Trolley capacity is limited, so guests with strollers or wagons are encouraged to walk, and strollers must be emptied and folded before boarding. The sixth annual battle-of-the-bands returns to Mizner Park Amphitheater with a high-energy showcase of live music and a lively crowd. Bands will face off for a $2,500 grand prize, and those selected to perform receive a $500 participation payment. Applications are open in two brackets, under 20 and over 20. Admission is free for all attendees. Running alongside the performances, a pop-up youth market will highlight small businesses operated by young people ages 13 to 20 throughout the competition.

The Hobbit Commander Party

Dive into a 13 week Magic: The Gathering Commander league built around friendly competition, clear structure, and steady rewards. Players are placed in multiplayer pods of three to five, with two rounds each session, and the winner of every round takes home a pack of their choice. Three brackets let you choose your pace and power level... casual for new players and preconstructed decks, optimized for experienced pilots, and competitive for top bracket play. Entry is $6. Participation is tracked across the season and culminates in a Prize Night. Entry to Prize Night is included in league fees, the prize pool grows throughout the season, and prizes are shared among players who attend Prize Night and have played in at least three league sessions.
