Center Toward Self RelianceTween Game Play & Pokemon Club
Geared for ages 8 to 12, this club at Pikes Peak Library District’s Fountain Library centers on game play and all things Pokémon. Tweens can trade cards, play the Pokémon Trading Card Game, and chat about the Pokémon world. Conversation can also branch out to books, movies, shows, video games, and other tabletop favorites. A variety of board and card games will be available, with options such as Candy Land, Monopoly, Uno, Exploding Kittens, and chess. Participants may bring the Pokémon Go app on their own device to add friends, battle, or compare strategies. Younger siblings have a designated play area in the children’s reading section. The gathering takes place in the Fountain Meeting Room at the library.

Fuel & Iron Food HallMrs. Doubtfire
After a painful divorce and the loss of custody, Daniel Hillard creates a warm hearted Scottish nanny persona, Euphegenia Doubtfire, so he can remain a part of his children’s daily lives. This musical comedy mixes laughter with genuine emotion, honoring the determination it takes to hold onto the people who matter most. It underscores the power of family, resilience, and the belief that loved ones are strongest when they stand together.
