Tour/Gallery Talk with Anderson & Low

This free event features an artist-led tour of Manga Dreams at the Loveland Museum. Their photographs have been exhibited internationally, are held in public and private collections, and their projects have included collaborations with the Star Wars and James Bond franchises. The exhibition explores themes of identity, media, and self-perception through the lens of cyberculture and digital technology. Manga Dreams

Presented in the Main Gallery, this exhibition invites visitors into a vivid, imagined universe shaped by online culture and digital tools. Formal portraits of Asian young people appear in manga-inspired looks as they embody characters they dreamed up themselves. Working with the artists, participants received styling and invented backstories, then the scenes were expanded through post-production to create fully realized worlds. None of the personas are drawn from existing manga, keeping the focus on originality and self-invention. The presentation sits where popular culture meets contemporary art, touching on identity, self-expression, cosplay, gender, and how media representation shapes the way we see ourselves. Related programming includes a private member reception, a kintsugi workshop that requires registration, and an anime film series at the Rialto Theater with $5 screenings of Spirited Away, Howl’s Moving Castle, and Evangelion: 3.0+1.01 Thrice Upon A Time.

Nests: A Trypophobian Nightmare - Sylvia Eichmann

Presented in the Mezzanine Gallery, this immersive installation by Sylvia Eichmann explores the pull between safety and exposure through organic structures inspired by swallow nests, seed pods, and barnacles. Clustered pods form a kind of community that suggests shelter and belonging, yet their shadowed openings hint at depth and mystery, prompting a closer look at what rests beneath the surface. The work engages themes of change and psychology, proposing that unease and darkness can be catalysts for growth. As the grouping evolves, it invites interaction, photography, and ongoing participation, creating an experience that feels both personal and shared. Eichmann is a dual Swiss and American artist based in Loveland, with a studio at Artworks Center for Contemporary Art. Having lived, studied, and exhibited across several continents, she brings a range of techniques to a primarily conceptual, multimedia practice shaped by psychospiritual concerns.

Sacred Geometry 1

Walk into spaces that feel lighter and more harmonious by learning practical ways to work with sacred geometry in this Level 1 class. Designed for moments when a room feels tense, an office carries heavy energy, or life has called for a fresh start, the teachings focus on using timeless geometric principles to uplift environments and restore clarity. At home, gain tools you can use regularly to clear stagnation and infuse your rooms with light, supporting greater creativity, deeper connections, and a more enriching meditation practice for everyone who lives there. In the workplace, apply the same methods to support focus, sustain a positive atmosphere, and keep low-vibration influences outside your personal space. Participants receive techniques for cleansing, energizing, protecting, and activating a room. The class offers a hands-on connection with key geometric forms, guidance for laying a simple grid and sealing a space for protection and enhancement, a method for building an energetic temple, and practices to awaken these patterns within the energy body. It is well suited to parents and grandparents, business professionals, healers, acupuncturists, yoga and massage practitioners, doctors, holistic providers, and anyone seeking additional ways to create sacred space. The material is preserved within the Modern Mystery School tradition and is presented as part of a long-standing lineage associated with King Salomon rather than a contemporary trend. Glass Art and Light - Artisan Kids Art Camp

At The Artisan Shop & Studio, this weeklong kids art camp invites ages 7 to 12 to discover the creative possibilities of working with glass. Campers explore how hue, translucency, texture, and light can transform a design, while building skills step by step. Tuition is $195. Participants complete a sequence of instructor-guided projects that include mosaic pieces, painted glass, fused compositions, and a beginner friendly stained glass creation. Early sessions cover essential material knowledge, core design ideas, and safe handling practices. Students also receive an introduction to kiln use and firing, along with foundational glass safety. As confidence grows, projects become more detailed and encourage experimentation with color and pattern. The studio emphasizes creativity and careful craftsmanship, with demonstrations followed by plenty of hands-on making. All required glass, tools, and protective gear are included. Optional premium materials and specialty add ons may be available during class for those who want to personalize their work. For comfort and safety, wear clothing that can get messy and choose closed toe shoes. Pack a water bottle for each day. The program takes place in a working studio environment, and students are coached in proper tool use, respectful handling of materials, and keeping workspaces organized. All activities use age appropriate tools and are supervised by the instructor. For drop off and pick up, a parent or approved guardian must sign students in and out. Students are released only to individuals listed on the registration form who present photo ID. Please arrive promptly at pickup so instructors can prepare for the next activities. Registrations are nonrefundable within seven days of the first session. Spots can be secured only through The Artisan Shop & Studio website or the Our Town Market Eventbrite page.

Berthoud, CO @ City Star Brewing

Jack Yoder steps away from his loud, full-band setup for an intimate solo acoustic night built around one voice, one guitar, and the stories behind the songs. This pared-back approach shows a different side than listeners of The Doublewide Disaster might expect, keeping the spotlight on close-up songwriting and feeling. The set draws from his albums Dumpster Fire and Wagonload, alongside the covers that helped shape him across Americana, blues, and alt-country. Songs like I Made It to Here and King of California arrive in their bare-bones form, much like when they were first written, letting both the rough edges and the tenderness shine. Between numbers, he shares the backstories, creating a relaxed, conversational vibe that can move from a quiet ballad to a honky-tonk strut in the spirit of Waylon and Willie. It is all about the simple connection a voice and a guitar can make in a room.
