Flip Night

Flip Night at Counterfeit Cowboy turns ordering a round into a coin toss. Put in a round, flip a coin before anything is poured, and let the result decide the tab. Heads means the drinks are free, tails means you pay. There is one flip per round, and if the coin does not go your way the whole round is paid together with no splitting checks after the flip. The house makes the final call on the result. No second flips or do-overs are allowed. Bartenders may cut off service at their discretion. Keep it friendly and have fun.

Transcendence : A Kambo Kinship Ceremony

A Kambo kinship ceremony centers on a sacred Amazonian practice involving the application of secretion from the skin of Phyllomedusa bicolor, the giant monkey tree frog. Rooted in indigenous traditions of cleansing and spiritual work, participants often report benefits such as increased mental clarity, shifts in awareness, and a renewed sense of connection. The ritual is described as supporting purification of toxins and impurities and physical restoration, with references to anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects as well as bioactive and neuropeptides that provide amino acids, the building blocks of protein. Many also speak to sharper focus and energy afterward, with reports of support for learning and easing brain fog, depression or anxiety, and symptoms associated with ADHD and PTSD. Ceremonies are also associated with emotional release that can help clear energetic blockages and with practices that deepen spiritual connection to the natural world. If it is your first time at EDENOLOGY there is a waiver process before ceremony to confirm safety and screen for contraindications, and a consultation can be scheduled to answer questions and begin that process. Please dress in layers, bring a journal and any crystals you want to work with, and arrive fasted from food for seven hours. Double purified water filtered through Aquasana and Kangen systems to approximately 7 pH will be provided during the ceremony. The session is served by Curanderas Andria and Keauna.

Flip Night at Counterfeit Cowboy turns ordering a round into a coin toss challenge. Place a round of drinks, flip a coin, and if it lands on heads the round is on the house. Tails means you cover the bill. Only one coin toss applies to each round, and it must happen before any drinks are prepared. If the result is not in your favor, the entire round is paid together with no splitting checks after the toss. There are no second tries or practice flips, and the house’s decision on the result is final. Bartenders may cut off service at their discretion. BLUR: at the intersection of art and design

Surface Gallery presents a group exhibition exploring where art and graphic design meet, bringing together distinct processes and media that question whether a boundary between the two even exists. The show gathers design work and personal art by noted local talents Caroline Clark, Luke Flowers, Michael Heath, Ryan Putnam, and Jesse Taylor. Clark draws on extensive research into Victorian lithography, recreating its step by step methods both digitally and by hand to echo the dot patterns, textures, and tonal effects once produced with large stones for each color. Flowers, an illustrator of more than 60 children’s books with clients such as Scholastic, Penguin Random House, Disney, and The Jim Henson Company, contributes work shaped by years of storytelling. Heath, a multidisciplinary artist with roots in illustration, photography, advertising, publishing, music production, and motion graphics, channels memories of youthful outdoor adventures, blending nostalgia with scenes where human touch meets the wild. Putnam turns from tech design toward tactile practices like printmaking, ceramics, and collage to create pieces that feel both discovered and made. Taylor reimagines familiar logos and campaigns, using humor and reinterpretation to examine branding as a shared cultural language and to invite a fresh look at symbols that carry emotion, identity, and cultural values.
