BA Start Arcade BarIsrael Vibrations and more
Israel Vibration performs at SLO Brew with Roots Radics and special guest Rastan. The vocal trio from 1970s Kingston, Jamaica is known for close harmonies, spirituality, and resilience. Founders Lascelle “Wiss” Bulgin, Cecil “Skelly” Spence, and Albert “Apple Gabriel” Craig met at the Mona Rehabilitation Clinic as children who had polio, then began singing in Kingston before their breakthrough with the single Why Worry. Their debut album The Same Song in 1978 and Unconquered People in 1980 brought wider attention, and they went on to share stages with Bob Marley and Dennis Brown. After a brief separation in the early 1980s, the group reunited and recorded extensively with RAS Records, touring worldwide with Roots Radics as their backing band. Themes of faith, perseverance, and social consciousness continue to shape their music. Admission is $35.00 and the show is open to all ages.
