Oceanside CrossfitHonoring Peggy Watson (featuring David Beldock)
At Pilgrim United Church of Christ, this concert honors Peggy Watson, a beloved local singer songwriter who served on the San Diego Folk Heritage board for a decade. To mark the close of her board service, Peggy appears with longtime collaborator David Beldock for a full concert of original songs that mix melody, humor, and heartfelt moments. The duo performs acoustic folk, blues, and jazz. Their collaboration began as an unexpected pairing, with David bringing years of band experience and rock and blues guitar, and Peggy grounded in contemporary folk with occasional forays into jazz and pop. Songwriting together became a challenge they embraced, and on stage they are noted for accomplished musicianship, rich harmonies, and a playful presence.

Inspired by the insight of St. Ignatius Loyola that God can be found within the stories of our lives, this retreat offers space to notice the sacred in unexpected places... within the pages of your own life. Space is limited. For more information, contact Sandra Dominguez, Director of Sponsored Retreats and Outreach, at (760) 757-3659 or sandra@sanluisrey.org.
