Intro to Metalsmithing Weekend Intensive

A immersive weekend course introduces beginners to metalsmithing and soldering in a small, hands-on studio environment. Over three focused days, participants learn torch safety and setup, heat control and solder flow, wire forming, stone setting, finishing techniques, and core design concepts while creating a collection of wearable pieces. 2026 Concours d'Lemons California

An offbeat celebration of terrible cars and big laughs returns to the Seaside City Hall lawn, playfully poking fun at Monterey Auto Week. A wide mix of hoopties competes for the tongue in cheek "Worst of Show" trophy, with results decided by celebrity judges who are capricious and bribery prone. Spectator admission is free, so you get what you pay for and maybe even a little less.
