Living Deliberately: New Moon Women's Circle

At Chico Holistic Wellness Center, this women’s circle creates a sacred space to honor the New Moon with a monthly cacao ceremony paired with astrology-aligned workshops. Grounded in the spirit of living deliberately, it invites deep reflection, radical honesty, and self-directed healing. Guided by Jaelyn, the ceremony works with cacao as a plant medicine valued for opening the heart and anchoring presence, with ritual elements such as intention setting, embodied practice, and meditation to support healing on multiple levels. Participants explore the current astrological themes and how to work with that energy for personal growth, craft intentions for the month ahead, learn about cacao’s traditions and how it interacts with the body, and take part in devotional ceremony that cultivates community and self-love. The experience is designed to offer tools for self-love, empowerment, and manifestation while connecting with others on similar spiritual paths. Cacao does not produce psychoactive or impairing effects, but it can influence the body by lowering blood pressure and providing stimulation. Anyone with low blood pressure, who is pregnant or breastfeeding, or who is taking antidepressant medications is asked to inform Jaelyn so a smaller dose can be offered if desired. Comfortable clothing is recommended. Bring a reusable mug and, if you wish, an item for the communal altar; personal ceremonial items like crystals, oracle decks, or natural objects are also welcome. Admission is $20. RSVP options include Eventbrite, Venmo at @celestial-sisters, or paying at the door. Questions can be directed to jaelyn@celestial-sisters.com.
