Set out on an easygoing loop through Carbon Canyon Regional Park, where shady groves and the Yorba Linda redwoods line the path as evening light settles over rolling hills. This beginner friendly outing covers about 4.2 miles with roughly 300 feet of elevation gain and typically lasts 2 to 2½ hours. Restroom facilities are available, dogs are welcome and must remain leashed, and no headlamp is needed for this route. Bring at least 32 ounces of water, a light snack, and comfortable walking or trail shoes. Dress for cooler evening temperatures and carry any personal medications you may need. A positive outlook and a sense of adventure are encouraged. Expect peaceful trails, striking redwood scenery, a Southern California sunset, and plenty of opportunities for photos. Participants are expected to arrive on time, be prepared for the posted distance and terrain, carry sufficient water and nutrition, wear appropriate footwear and clothing, and exercise good judgment throughout the hike. A water and gear check may be conducted before departure, and those without adequate water, proper footwear, required equipment, or adequate preparation may be denied participation for safety. All participants must have a current Heritage Hiking Club Liability Release on file before taking part. Volunteer leaders facilitate the group experience but are not serving as professional guides or medical providers, and each person is responsible for their own pace, condition, hydration, nutrition, equipment, and overall well being. Routes, mileage, and plans may change if weather, trail conditions, closures, or safety considerations require it.

Drivers get four practice runs, then official results are based on a single fastest timed run. Corner Exit events are structured as no-work days, keeping participants focused on driving. Smaller run groups with roughly a quarter fewer cars are planned, and classes run at the same time so standings can be tracked as the day unfolds. Each class entry contributes to a year-end prize pool that pays the top three in class, with four events in the series and the best three finishes counting toward points. Livestream coverage is planned. This is a pilot series with a goal of delivering a professional local autocross experience. The day runs rain or shine. Payment is collected at booking, and non annual members will receive a number on site. Cancellations more than seven days before the event receive a credit, while no refunds are issued within seven days. A completed and signed tech inspection form must be presented at registration, and random checks may occur. The schedule includes check in, a mandatory drivers meeting, practice runs, official timed runs, an awards ceremony, and then fun runs into the evening.

Divisions include 1 through 7 with junior and senior sections for Division 7, plus an open category that is not state rated. Juniors are 13 and under, and seniors are 14 and over. Rated classes feature Birangle, Big T, Skill Barrels, and Cloverleaf, with Single Pole offered as an additional class. FRR members can enter all events for $45 with early registration submitted by the Wednesday before the show or $60 if submitted after. Non‑members pay $55 with early registration or $65 after. Time only runs for horses already entered are $5 per run. Single‑event entries are $15 per class plus a $10 grounds fee. Lead line includes three events at $7 per event plus a $10 grounds fee. A $2 state rating fee applies per horse and rider for full entries, excluding lead line and single‑event entries. A $10 grounds fee per horse and rider is required, excluding time only. Online registration with payment is available, and a 3% convenience fee applies. Early registration means both entry and payment are submitted by the Wednesday before the show, and entries after that point are charged the higher rate. A 2026 Rider Participation Waiver & Hold Harmless Agreement must be completed and signed before competing, and it is an annual form that only needs to be submitted once each season. Riders under 18 must wear a riding helmet, and helmet rules can be reviewed on the event website, in the 2026 show rules, or in the CSHA rulebook.
