Learn to Swim In Weeks Not Years

The Aqua Baby Survival Program focuses on infant and toddler survival swimming through a five week commitment with short, frequent lessons. Sessions take place four days a week, with each lesson lasting 12 minutes. By the end of the program, children are guaranteed to develop self rescue skills for aquatic emergencies. Because 69 percent of drownings happen during unplanned swim times when a child may be fully clothed, the program includes real world practice once skills are established. Children are tested on separate days in summer clothing and winter clothing to confirm they can swim and float while fully clothed. Enrollment is limited, and lesson times can be viewed through the event’s tickets section. The organizers are not affiliated with the Sahuarita Stingrays Swim Team, although the pool there will be used during the summer.
