Suitable for first-timers and those with prior experience. For ages 6 to 12.

Teens ages 12 to 17 can gather in the Kids Classroom at the South Huntsville Public Library for a relaxed writers hangout held most Mondays. This welcoming group offers time to write alongside peers, try short prompts and exercises, and talk about works in progress or the craft of writing in general. Participants may bring a printed, typed, double spaced excerpt of 3 to 6 pages to receive constructive feedback. It is not a formal class, rather a space to focus on writing while connecting with other young writers.
